There is plenty of parking here, but be sure to bring a wagon to get your gear to the beach. There are also bathrooms/showers here and a pavilion with picnic tables.

St. Simons Island's unique location on the East Coast results in calm waters. Though the shoreline may appear calm, strong currents and significant tides pose risks. Lifeguards operate between Memorial Day and Labor Day from 11am to 6pm, urging caution for swimmers. Certain beach access points on St. Simons Island are "tide contingent," submerging at high tide and revealing the sandy beach at low tide. Public access points 1-23 from Wyley Street to Arnold Road are tide-dependent, while points 24-37 offer 24/7 accessibility along the Island's eastern side.
