The competition begins with the 1-mile fun run at 7:00 am and the 5K race at 7:30 am. The top three finishers will receive a special award at the award ceremony at Mallery Park. Next up for the festival is the enjoyable golf cart parade beginning at 2:30 pm that same very day. The Traveling Riverside Band will start playing at 6:00 pm for the evening for the perfect musical backdrop. Finally, this 4^th of July on St Simon's Islandwill end with a dazzling fireworks celebration around 9:00 pm at the Pier. The rest of the holiday weekend will involve the 4^th of July Arts & Crafts Show at Postell Park. Explore the many local art vendors putting their incredible wares up for display.
