Such a perfect house with a great location! Fully updated with a fully stocked kitchen for those who love to cook. Pool and hot tub were perfect and communication with the rental company was excellent. We will definitely be back!

This property is beautiful. It is so relaxing to be so close to the ocean but staying comfortable floating in the pool or sipping wine or coffee from the deck. One thing to note- there is no beach access from the house, but there is one very close. At this end of the island, there is very little beach, and it is only accessible at low tide. Not a worry during my trip since none of us could tear ourselves away from the pool!

This home was the perfect base for us while vacationing on St. Simons Island. Just perfect. Everything was clean and in great shape. This was our first vacation since my husband, and children's father, passed away. I was a bit anxious hoping it would go well. We felt comfortable and safe the entire time. Myself and my boys had the most wonderfully relaxing time. We loved the pool the most! We did a beach walk everyday, collecting shells and watching all the crabs. We loved watching the birds and the dolphins playing, and the large flocks of pelicans overhead daily. We were a short distance from the downtown area, and all it had to offer. Thank you so much for hosting us. We all immensely enjoyed our stay. We'll be back. :)

What a great beach house! It is very attractive and comfortably furnished. Everything about the house when we arrived was exceptionally clean. And nobody in our family saw any bugs which is very unusual. If stair climbing is difficult there's an elevator which is dependable and attractive. The home and its many amenities, along with a fantastic view of the ocean provided a first class way to relax. Highly complimentary of the heated pool/spa and the beautiful bedrooms on the third floor. My wife rated the kitchen 10 stars as well as the walks on the beach! We would recommend this property, and hopefully we'll be able to visit again in the near future.

Will definitely rent this home again! It was a short stroll to all that downtown offers but also in a very quiet secluded upscale neighborhood. The bikes provided were a huge perk and the view and pool were excellent.

This is IT, yall! Excellent view, very close to the ocean. We saw huge cargo ships pass from every deck and from the pool, which was pretty cool. The pool and spa were amazing. We enjoyed the heated feature at night. It was so relaxing. We spent most of our time in and around the pool. I liked that there are privacy fences/bushes where the neighbors on either side did not have a view into the pool/hot tub area. The landscaping was beautiful, inviting, and there were virtually NO BUGS outside and definitely none inside, anywhere. The house was very clean. Awesome kitchen with everything we needed to cook breakfast. Grill worked great for hotdogs. State of the art appliances, huge fridge. The beds were comfy, pillows were great! Wish I'd noted the brand! If you're cold natured you might want to bring a thicker blanket for bed time and a couch blanket. The house was beautiful and clean. The master bathroom had HEATED FLOORS which I had never experienced before. They were amazing after a shower. There are also towel warmers in the bathrooms that are activated to heat your towel while you shower. Amazing! Plenty of space for big families but also cozy for 2. There are a lot of stairs so older folks might not be into that but there is an elevator. We couldn't figure out how to work it but didn't really try either or contact anyone about it. (It was probably user error lol) The only MINOR thing I noticed is that there were no rugs or mats in the kitchen or main floor which would have been nice. But that's literally not a complaint. More of a preference. The house is also very close to the pier, park, Lighthouse, shops, etc... within walking distance. I do recommend golf carting, though, because there are plenty of spots you can zip to on the cart easier than driving that are slightly out of walking distance. I highly recommend visiting Fort Frederica. That was stunning! Take bug spray there. The WW2 museum was also awesome.

The property was lovely. When we arrived, the washing machine was out of service, but upon contacting the property manager, they made arrangements to have our laundry picked up, washed, dried, folded and returned to us. They were very responsive.

Beautiful property, serene surroundings and close to restaurants and shops. Watching the barges come and go, along with the daily dolphin sightings were a great bonus. The pool temperature was an issue, although it was tended to quickly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

The house was fantastic. We have stayed in multiple properties in St Simons as well as other beaches and my wife and kids liked this house the best. The pool was great (although it gets really warm mid day from the sun. Better than cold!), you can see dolphins throughout the day in the channel, and the kids like to watch the boats. It was super quiet, easy to walk to restaurants, and the beach was great for short trips. During high tide its not accessible but for our kids a couple hours at a time is enough beach for them. Overall great house!

We had a little hiccup in the beginning of our Vaca to St. Simon's Island. When we arrived on Friday it seemed like the place wasn't aired out for a while with how musty/stuffy the downstairs and the closets were. We aired out the home and by Saturday afternoon it was not really noticeable anymore. I'd like to add I'm pretty sensitive to mold. I spoke to the property manager he was really nice and credited us one night back. But aside from that, the layout of the home, the views, the landscaping this place is beautiful. It's so close to downtown we walked to the park and for ice cream. There's lots of board games, the pool is a perfect size for a family of 5 as well. The beach in front of the property during low tide has lots of crabs and sea life hiding in the rocks, which keeps the little ones entertained. They have miniature golf, a splash pad and a park downtown too. I recommend doing a fishing charter with Captain Shawn, really nice guy. You can catch big sharks and whitings, it's great way to spend the day.

We are a retired couple and live in the southeast. We had friends come in from Kansas City and we wanted to show them the awesomeness of St Simons. The house was perfect!!! Each couple had king bedrooms with private baths and sliding glass doors that led out to decks overlooking the ocean. The kitchen was perfect for what cooking we did and there was plenty of room for our wine and games. We didn't use the pool and hot tub, but they looked perfect. We were within walking distance of the Village and most of the restaurants for our meals. The home does have an elevator, but it was a little sensitive. If you cannot do stairs, I am not sure this is the one for you. When it worked, the elevator was wonderful.

I like the house and it is comfortable. This visit I had some trouble with the fireplace not working, the air on the second floor seemed to be not working as well. After a busy year, I just want to quietly unwind in a beautiful place. I found some of the handles on the drawers in the kitchen to be unclean, the cabinet for the trash and the knob were gross, along with the light switches that were brown with dirt throughout the house. The coffee maker had coffee in it from the previous stay. The master bathroom had a yellow ring around the base of the toilet. I guess with covid, I have been extra sensitive to cleanliness. I am professional person, way over the 35 age requirement and the sole reason for me spending time at a house like this one is to have quiet and downtime. I felt that the house rules list, while they are easy enough to follow given the premise of my stay, seemed to be overkill as though we were young, fraternity boys. I am used to staying at nice resorts around the world and I take good care of the places I stay. I also didn't like taking the sheets off the bed from each room to place them in the tub of a room I didn't even use. I took the kitchen towels upstairs to the tub. I also like my privacy and I don't need the Nest owner knowing my comings and goings. That is uncomfortable and made me wonder how many other cameras were in the home and not previously disclosed. All in all, this was just an "okay" stay.

The house was very nice and in a great location. Easy to walk to local places to eat and to the pier. Quiet neighborhood and really nice view of the water. We were initially surprised by and disappointed that our view was partially blocked by something. But we soon learned that the big operation in the water is the salvage operation of a cargo ship that capsized two years ago. It was interesting to watch the activity around that. We enjoyed watching the boats and ships come and go past the house, sometimes with porpoise escort. The rental company was easy to communicate with and very responsive when we had to call with some minor issues.

It was a very easy and enjoyable experience. We didn’t have a pack and play crib which was in the listing but it was quickly brought to us. Great communication with management company. The house had so much that we wondered why it didn’t have a refrigerator/ freezer downstairs in the garage. There wasn’t much freezer space in the one upstairs for bags of ice and while they had small ice maker, it didn’t make enough to pack coolers. Would recommend this house. Great location and amenities.

Our stay at this beautiful home was AMAZING! We spent our mornings walking the beach and afternoons in the pool. This house is located right around the corner from pier village (2-3 minute walk). I have 3 children and having the ability to walk everywhere was so convenient! This was our first time staying at this house but we are already planning our next trip.

We spent a week at this lovely beach home. The views were incredible, and the outdoor spaces were nice and relaxing. We loved the pool and made use of the grills many times for meals. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bedrooms were comfy and private. Everything felt nicely updated and very well maintained. And of course, it's within walking distance to some fabulous restaurants and parks. Such a great vacation!

Pier Serenity Cottage is exceptional! It's chic, coastal-inspired decor beckons, you instantly feel the pride of ownership in its impeccable condition, and you RELAX. Outdoor terraces, jasmine scented garden paths, expansive verandas, comfortable seating, and covered dining options open the outdoors to the sea. Notwithstanding, our last-minute booking and wonderful experience, it could not have been possible without Susan's professionalism and the management team. We hope to return in autumn.

The house was very well maintained and as advertise. The location is an outstanding combination of privacy with close proximity to restaurants and shops. We were prepared for the ship deconstruction and actually enjoyed watching the process but we do wish they would choose to stop work when everyone is sleeping! Short term issue. We did leave a note on the kitchen counter with a few kitchen implements that would be helpful. All in all, we were happy with our selection.

Everything was better than described. Bikes in the garage made it easy to get wherever we wanted even though we were walking distance from everything. The elevator made getting bags to the third floor a breeze.

My girlfriends and I had a great extended weekend stay. The property is gorgeous and as advertised. We had a couple of minor issues that were handled quickly without any disruption. Property management was responsive and easy to contact. Recommend highly and would stay again.

Thank you for the perfect getaway. The house was comfortable, perfectly situated with great views, nicely decorated, and fully equipped, with two outdoor grills and lots of space to spread out. This was our first trip of the pandemic and we felt completely safe and it felt like a real vacation.

We have visited SSI 2-3 times per year for the last 10 years. Our stay at Pier Serenity Cottage was one of the best by far! The location is perfect - right on the water and a very short walk to the Pier and Village. The house is perfect - all the comforts of home, nicely appointed, containing everything we needed for our stay. And we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spa. The property managers are perfect - friendly and responsive in every interaction, from booking to check out. Our only criticism? That the house is already booked on dates we’d like to visit again!

This home was spotless clean on arrival and had all the comforts we could have wanted. The views are amazing at every level. Dolphins playing every day in front and always entertained by the ships that pass by. Location was also very good. We could walk to village and several of our favorite restaurants. The property management was always very quick to respond to any of our questions and needs. Wouldn't hesitate to rent again. It was a most needed relaxing break.

It’s hard to say what our favorite thing about this house is. Because we are in the throes of a pandemic, I will start with how clean it is. Every room, every corner, every surface sparkled (and I am a germaphobe). The outdoor spaces on every level and the backyard oasis are where we spent a lot of our time. The pool is a good size and we spent hours floating around in it (there are towels and floats there). The view of St Simons Sound and Jekyll are lovely. Daily visits from dolphins and watching the work on the Golden Ray shipwreck kept our family’s attention. The location is fantastic. We had a golf cart and it was just a minute into the village. You could walk it in 5. There are also lots of bikes at the house and riding in the area is flat and easy. The house is really spacious. We had 4 adults but I think 6 could sleep comfortably. I am not a cook but the kitchen is well stocked and there are 2 grills. I think any cook would be happy. There isn’t direct beach access, but’s a super short enough walk. Private stairs to the beach would have been a nice addition but for us it didn’t detract at all. We would give this house two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Nice renovation. Ocean view makes morning coffee and evening cocktails special. Walking distance to the pier shops and restaurants was great. We frequently go to sea island, having this property as an option gave us a wonderful experience. The beach is gone at high tide but stays very private between the pier and The Lodge, so not as crazy as east beach.

Perfect! We had an absolutely fantastic time at your home. Sitting on the balcony watching the boats and dolphins go by was incredibly peaceful. Our girls enjoyed splashing at the beach and looking for critters in the seashells. Following a baby shark up the beach was extra exciting for them! The pool area creates a perfect oasis. The decor, comfort of beds, linens, etc was greatly appreciated and made it truly feel like being home. Loved everything about Pier Serenity Cottage. Location walking distance to great restaurants. Views of ocean are breathtaking. Can dolphin watch from the bedroom! Really enjoyed pool and reading in the chairs overlooking the ocean. Will definitely return!

This by far was the best vacation getaway we have ever had as a family. Serenity Pier Cottage on St Simons Island offered the perfect amount of room, comfort, views and privacy we were hoping for on our vacation trip for 2019. St Simons Island not only met but super exceeded our expectations as a vacation destination. Truly one of the most beautiful and most peaceful place we have ever visited. Our agent Beth was incredible. She was quick to answer or respond back the couple of times we called her and was extremely professional and helpful. We have done several vacation getaways as a family, but this is the first time I can honestly say I have not one thing to complain about other than we wished we could have stayed a little longer. Well worth the money and the drive and we will be back to St. Simons Island again very soon and we will be making sure we only deal with Beth @ Lilmar Proterties from here on. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!!! If we could give it a better rating than Excellent, we would. ...The Pace Family

The combination of your home, views, grounds and island life made this a great experience. The home flows and lives well for a pleasant and comfortable stay. We spent much time enjoying the water view from the porches and grounds. The kitchen, grills and chef/butler pantry made dinners and happy hour(s) in effortless and entertaining. The walk to restaurants, shops and music was only five minutes from the house. Not forgetting memorable walks and sunsets on the beach! We had a lovely stay at this property. The house was just what we wanted--right on the water, near the retail village, and filled with comfortable, modern appointments. The photos were accurate and everything worked. Communications with the rental management company were timely and complete and checking in and out was a breeze. We look forward to booking this property for future visits.
