Beach Haven

We had a couple of issues with the AC on the 4th floor and kitchen fridge/ice maker but the maintenance group took care of them right away. Very close to the beach so you can walk there in no time. The owners need to re-think the dining room table and chairs. It’s just too large for the space and is difficult to walk around especially when people are seated. Although it rained most of the time we were there we enjoyed going into town to shop and eat. Love Saint Simons!!

Love this townhome!! More than we expected and loved the light decor throughout the home. Plenty of space for all and a short walk to the beach. Beach towels were a plus, however the beach chairs provided were older so if your particular about your chair, bring your own. The home was very equipped, and I would stay here again! We thoroughly enjoyed or stay at Beach Haven. The condo was very clean and quiet which made for a very restful getaway. The location can't be beat. It's far enough away from the crowds but close enough to lots of places to shop, eat and enjoy the beaches. The TV was somewhat difficult to manage and froze for buffering often, but it worked we enough. Although the weather was cooler than normal and rainy a bit, it didn't dampen our spirits. We had a great time.

This property was ideal for us! Immaculate, pleasing subtle decor, everything we needed at our fingertips and space for everyone to have privacy. I was so surprised at how spacious the house was, we were very comfortable! We explored several of the public access beaches and decided that the coast guard park beach was perfect and so close by. We will definitely come again and stay in this property!

We loved the property, the space provided wonderful Privacy for each guest, so spacious! Immaculate and well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing that we struggled with was getting in and out of chairs around dining table. We found it hard to get around each other or to pop out to get something needed. We all thought the space would be served better with two long benches. Other than that everything was perfect! Thank you!

Everything about this house was awesome. It was in a good location and short walk to the beach. The owners even had towels and chairs we could use for the beach! I will absolutely be coming back to this house! It also slept a lot of people too! Super happy with the stay!

We loved this house! Lots of steps but the elevator was great for my mother-in-law. Beautifully decorated and house had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Location was close to the pier/village. Highly recommend.

My family and I had a wonderful trip to St. Simons! A large part of the stay was the house which we enjoyed. The only recommendation is a dining table that is more narrow to give room behind the chairs. It was not that bad, but fix that and it would be perfect!

This home was beautiful & had everything we could possibly need for our week in SSI. The bedrooms are so spacious & my kids loved the bunk room. We enjoyed having so many balconies to enjoy at different points throughout the day. We also enjoyed that the beach access was as so conveniently located to the house. This house was perfect for our large family. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic house on the island.

We loved 1534! It was perfect for our large family. Bunk bed room was great for our four teens and the other bedrooms were amazing as well. We loved serving our family breakfasts each day around the large dining table. We will definitely be Booking again next year! Thank you!

This unit has all the amenities and is perfect for a large crowd. We had several senior boys and hosted spring break for our final time. We enjoyed the unit and took care of it like our own. All of the beds were nice. The unit was very clean. The kitchen had every gadget you could need. We never touched the beach towels, but there were plenty. The elevator is a necessity for hauling luggage to the fourth floor. My 78-year-old mother was with us, and the elevator made her stay more enjoyable. My only critique is the size of the dining table and chairs. The narrow area could use a smaller table and chairs. We had larger boys, and I always worried about them knocking something over while eating. Everyone had to get up to let one person out from the far end. Overall, it is an excellent unit! We would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes quality furnishings. The golf cart in the garage made it impossible to park in the garage, but that was totally understandable. We looked at it as "owner's privilege." Beautiful unit.

This is a great place for a winter getaway. The rooms are large and well furnished. We loved all of the decks, giving everyone the opportunity for enjoying each other's company or getting some restful alone time. Short walks to the beach and very good food. Lilmar has great staff who are very quick in responding to any questions or issues. The refrigerator ice dispenser was frozen solid when we arrived. After we cleared it the corkscrew mechanism turned but did not dispense ice. It wasn't a bring problem for us, but I thought we should bring it to your attention. We had a great time and are looking forward to returning next year.

We have been visiting the East Beach area of St. Simons Island for years. So, we have stayed in a lot of properties and know the island very well. This location and property were perfect for us. We were looking for marsh views with a short walk to the beach. The property was well decorated, well-maintained, well stocked with quality amenities and in the perfect location. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a short walk to the beach and plenty of room for their family. We had plenty of parking as well and there was even room for our golf cart. The elevator in the property made loading and unloading super easy.

We had an amazing long weekend in St. Simons Island. The pictures on this listing don’t even do the condo justice. It’s so so spacious and held the 10 of us with ease. The elevator was an added bonus! Everything seemed very clean too, and I’m pretty picky about that. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved so many things about this property. There is plenty of room to spread out, bedding is comfortable, and the unit is well stocked. Just a five minute walk to East Beach and there are several balconies that overlook the beautiful marsh (gorgeous sunsets). We will stay here again and I highly recommend. Our only negative of this property was there was a horrible smell in the basement garage that smelled like cat urine. Given this is a pet free property, I'm unsure what the smell was but I made the property manager aware so they could address it.

Very close to the beach and great restaurants. You'll need to bring basic kitchen supplies like dish towels, foil and spices if you plan to cook. No dishwasher soap either. Otherwise a very nice and comfortable condo.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Beach Haven! Great location, close to both the beach (3 public access within 10 mins walk). Even so, we rented a golf cart and loved being able to cruise around, pick up groceries, go out for dinner, etc. Highly recommend this beautiful home. We will be back!

Beach Haven was extremely clean, with comfortable beds, and a great location in East Beach. We enjoyed the top floor balcony overlooking the marsh at night - it was very peaceful and great for sunsets! The living area offered plenty of seating that would be good for a big group. The dining room might be a little tight for getting in and out of the chairs with a big group, but it would be fine with little kids. Overall a great spot and I’d love to stay there again in the future.

Listing is accurate. Elevator was nice to unload your car from the garage and not have to lug bags up stairs. Our family cooked breakfast every morning and had no problem with the available kitchen supplies. Everything was very clean upon arrival.

We have stayed in another property on island that is owned by the same folks-and true to form, everything was just as anticipated and more. Great location. Spotless. Linens and towels were high quality. Beds were comfortable. Big enough to gather as a group but private rooms to retreat to. Lots of steps, so the elevator came in very handy for luggage and groceries. Will will stay again!

This property was perfect for our girls getaway with the matriarch of our family (86), 2 daughters, 1 daughter-in-law, 3 granddaughters, 2 great-granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson (token male). The elevator was very helpful for getting luggage to the correct floors and for my mother when she was tired of stairs. This home had everything we needed for a great week. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces as well.

My husband,daughter,son-in-law,granddaughter and I stayed at Beach Haven during spring break. We had a wonderful stay and the home was spotless. with 4 levels to the home, there was privacy when we wanted it, but plenty of room to gather together in the spacious living room, or on one of the large porches to play games. No worries with the 4 levels, because there's an elevator to take you up and down if you don't want to use the stairs. Beach Haven is located within walking distance to the beach and we rented a golf cart to get around instead of having to drive our car. Lots of fun!!! The home had everything we needed and I would highly recommend this home if you're planning a trip to St.Simons Island.

We loved staying at Beach Haven! The property was ideal for our group— family of six with 4 teen/young adult sons, plus a set of grandparents. My nearly 80-year-old parents appreciated the elevator, and my sons loved the bunk room. We all enjoyed the beautiful marsh views from every level, and my guys wanted to take the HUGE sectional home with us! ? The townhouse was just a quick walk to the beach, and all the beach gear provided came in handy. The location was so convenient to restaurants, shopping, and the Village. We loved everything about our vacation on SSI and definitely would stay at Beach Haven again!

We had a lovely stay at Beach Haven. Things that we loved: Well stocked kitchen (we cooked a lot because of the pandemic) Beach chairs and towels to use Blankets for the living area and lots of room on couch to spread out GAMES!! Each room was its own retreat Everything felt new and clean With a couple options for beach access, it didn't feel like a far walk to get to the beach. Really enjoyed having outdoor access in each room to get some fresh air. And we rented bikes and we were able to explore most of the island. I would not recommend this rental to older people who aren't able to climb the stairs - or to anyone who is affected by noise. You can hear noise in neighboring units.
