We loved the house! Great location, super clean and all the things we needed! Plenty of space, kitchen well stocked and nice little extras like a few laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dish soap, bathroom toiletries. We felt super safe in the neighborhood and loved getting to go out walking each day. Walked to restaurants and shops! Definitely will stay here again!

We loved the house! We picked it because we have cousins who live on the same street. It was also very convenient to stores and restaurants we used. We only used the main floor. My only suggestion would be to label more switches. We spent time trying to turn lights off and on. Also, we were perplexed that the refrigerator only had ice in the door and not in the freezer itself. The back porch was great and we enjoyed sitting out there. Thanks for making this house available to us. We will remember it for future visits.

The house was absolutely perfect for our vacation with our family and their girlfriends who joined us for the week. The lay out worked well, fully equipped kitchen perhaps could use some more mixing and serving bowls. How was very clean upon arrival. It was soooo hot and humid that we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the back porch at all. Having two bikes to use was terrific and also the beach chairs that were there to use as well. Short ride to every beach that had plenty of public parking. Would absolutely rent this house again next time we visit with our family!

It’s hard to rate this property because there were some really strong things, but also a serious downside. On the positive note, it’s a beautiful, well-stocked property in a nice, quiet neighborhood just two blocks from the main street. Our family of six had plenty of room to spread out, but also great common areas for gathering and playing board games. The beach package was great. My 72-year-old mom said that this was the longest she’s stayed out at the beach in her life because it was such a comfortable setup.The downside was the bugs. Halfway thru our trip, we started having problems with cockroaches, including one of the largest I’ve ever seen (which is saying a lot since I’m from Georgia and familiar with palmetto bugs). They hid during the day but were very active at night, emerging from the kitchen sink, stove, and dishwasher. We had to make a late night run to BP one night in order to get bug spray. When I texted the company about it, they were very responsive. They called within one minute and had someone at the property about 2 hours later to spray. That killed some bugs but seemed to only agitate others. On our final night, my son went to the kitchen for a late-night snack and found four large bugs. If not for that problem, this would be a 5-star review. The customer service from Lilmar was wonderful and I’d rent another property from them.

Photos of the house were accurate in presenting the wonderfully spacious home and modern appliances. I especially enjoyed sitting on the back porch for coffee in the morning, reading in the afternoon, and wine in the evening! Rocking chairs on the front porch were also a nice feature. Although the airplane take-off and landing noise was annoying at times, the location was convenient for shopping at Winn-Dixie, biking, and dining at Southern Soul. Two minor recommendations: more frequent bug treatment and include a box of Kleenex in the amenity provisions.

House was in a great location and easy to find. Inside was just as described. Description said bikes “available” instead of “included”. Wish I would have known they were there so I didn’t use the $150 credit to rent more bikes when we could have used it for other items. Fair warning though for those looking to book. As of this review date the living room and master bedroom downstairs have wireless ceiling fans however there are no remotes and thus no way to change speeds (they were on low). When I brought this up to Lilmar on day one they sent a maintenance person to look at it the next morning. Basically after looking in all the same places I had he left us with a “huh, that’s weird there’s no remotes” and left. No other contact the rest of the week from Lilmar about this matter. Also the upstairs AC struggles to maintain temps when it’s hot outside. Set to 73 and ran all day and didn’t get below 76 until the sun went down. Only other suggestion would be to install some grab handles in the downstairs showers for elderly guests to get in and out of. All in all a good stay.

We loved our stay at the Broadway Bungalow for our weekend girls get away! The house was super clean, had plenty of space and was comfortable, we only had four people but this house could easily host plenty more. The kitchen was one of the best stocked vacation rental kitchens I have stayed in, which is great if you plan on cooking! The only thing I would suggest is be prepared with buying a bag of ice because the freezer didn’t really do a good job at keeping up with the ice supply and we only used the ice for beverages. The location was quiet and walking distance from food spots (highly recommended walking to Dulce Dough) It was also a short drive to the beach! The communication was also superb and we felt prepared and welcomed for our visit. Overall it was such a wonderful experience and would recommend this house or any house from Lilmar.

The home was beautiful the only issue I had was they listed a community pool. it didn’t have a pool when I asked they referred me to a literal public pool you had to pay to get in,if I had known that I would have chosen different.Besides that everything was great

Overall the home is very well appointed and very comfortable. Though it is a "no pets" accommodation, it is apparent the owners have fur babbies. Very well located between the beach and entertainment areas. Would definitely stay here again on the next trip to St. Simons

Overall the home is very well appointed and very comfortable. Though it is a "no pets" accommodation, it is apparent the owners have fur babbies. Very well located between the beach and entertainment areas. Would definitely stay here again on the next trip to St. Simons

The Broadway Bungalow was a perfect home away from home for our family of 6. It was charming, clean, well stocked, thoughtfully provisioned with games and bikes, and such a nice retreat for all of us. There is a really nice screen porch off the back of the house where I sat and read. Easy access to beach, quiet neighborhood with beautiful oak trees, and very quick access to grocery, restaurants, etc. We loved it and will definitely come again!

The property was in a good neighborhood and close to restaurants. Upon arrival we found the home very cozy & well maintained with nice decor. It should be noted that there was a musty smell in the laundry room & bathroom of the Primary Bedroom and in the 2nd downstairs bedroom / bathroom. The distressing moment occurred with the upstairs queen bed was made ready for bed. The covers were turned down to reveal a live Roach (Palmetto Bug is the regional term) on the pillow when flipped. The managing company was apologetic & stated that the cleaning company had worked hard to prepare for our arrival.

Great little house. Things were not in the best shape. Refrigerator handle was loose and the dishwasher door would drop if you didn’t hold it. Couch had stains on both side of the cushion. Other than those things it was a good stay.

The Broadway Bungalow was perfect for our family getaway! We were celebrating my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary. The adult couples had their own bedrooms, and the two teens were excited that they didn't have to share a room. ;-) We enjoyed eating and playing games at the dining room table, and the living room was comfortable for us too. It was nice to have two porches for morning coffee and thunderstorm watching. The house was immaculately clean, and the location was just right for all of our activities around town. The kids really enjoyed bike riding which was nice. My daughter accidentally left something behind, and the property manager was quick to get to housekeeping, and the item has already been shipped back to us. I'll recommend the Broadway Bungalow to anyone looking to spend some time in St. Simons!

The Cottage on St. Simon's was a beautiful and incredibly clean property which fory buddies' and I's yearly trip. It had everything we needed and was in a great location. It was near a municipal airport, so there were some small planes going in and out but it was not enough to be a nuisance. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time staying at the Broadway Bungalow. The place was very clean and well stocked. Entry was seamless and the place was almost spotless. Our one issue with the dishwasher was taken care of immediately. thanks -kevin

Overall, house was clean and conveniently located. We did have an issue with the dishwasher leaking and notified management with a quick response. It wasn’t fixed during our stay but that was not a big concern for me. It was well furnished for our needs and provided a comfortable place to stay during our time on the island.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Broadway Bungalow. The house is very well thought out and the decorating is beautiful. It was beachy, but still very classy feeling. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings and the back porch in the evenings. We cooked in several nights and had everything we needed. The backyard was very pretty and the location was very central to everything. We would definitely stay at this house again!
