This is a really great property for a couple. The porch is secluded and has a nice ceiling fan to generate a breeze. The king bed is comfortable and the linens are nice, neat and clean. It has a thick comforter, so if you like something lighter bring it with you. The bathroom is spacious and has a great large shower. The kitchenette is great for coffee and light heating up of items in the microwave. I personally would try to cook a meal because we enjoy all the great restaurants. But you probably could cook something light if you wanted. There is a small stackable washer and dryer that works great for a few items at a time. The couch and chairs are fine. They aren't extemely comfortable, but not terrible either. The pool was clean and never crowded. The local residents at the property were very nice. It is a quiet, relaxing property. This is not a party type atmosphere, so if you are looking for that, I would stay elsewhere. We are over 50 and it was perfect for us. It is a few minutes drive to anywhere you want to be. This is a very reasonable place to stay and I would stay again without hesitation.

Only issue was cold water, only two of us and the water temp was inconsistent. Had to take a cold shower half the time.

Nice condo for two adults and two kids. This is a compact apartment but had almost everything we needed for our beach stay. The kitchen is small with a two-burner stove top and a small toaster oven for very simple meals. Our kids enjoyed the pool. The area is quiet and the balcony is nice. There is a nearby park but nothing else in short walking distance. Shops, restaurants, and beaches are 5-10 minute drive.

214 was clean, updated and fresh smelling… A great Place within easy reach of anything on Saint Simon. The patio was enormous with couch and chairs overlooking a lush forest. I would specifically recommend this villa, 214, to anyone wanting a short term place on saint Simon.

The location was good but the room smelled strongly of mold and mildew. I thought it would get better as the AC ran but it didn’t. Was glad we didn’t have to spend much time in the unit.

This property was booked for our stay pending our beach wedding in nearby Jekyll Island. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay because of the devastating impact of hurricane Helene which in this case was a power outage. What made this property stand out is the sympathy, love, compassion, respect and kindness that the management demonstrated towards me and my family. They sent a gift basket which was so thoughtful a gesture that It assuaged our feelings of anxiety and sadness from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. It made a difference in our distorted wedding plans. It will forever stay in our memories.

We enjoyed the low key rental and the immediate communication when questions arose, great job! What I think could be improved is more night stand lights(two kids each needed one with the bunk beds, which left-leaning with none in the main room) amdmaybe ditch the beach chairs and invest in a few new ones that all can be worn as back packs ((current ones are not intact)) Thank you for having us, we had a great time!!!!

The place was clean and quiet. The pool was great for my three year old and not crowded. The king bed linens were lovely and the bunk beds worked great our grandkid. When the fridge started making a weird noise, maintenance was on it in two hours! Lovely back deck looking into trees. I’d stay there again.

The condo was nice and in a great location. The only complaint is the very loud refrigerator that would run all day and night. Also, the upstairs neighbor was very loud stomping until 1-2 am.

This was a very nice condo. Clean with nice decor. The location was great and situated near the village, restaurants and beaches. My teen slept comfortably in the bunk room. Loved sitting on the balcony and the fan offered a nice breeze. We happily used the pool. It was clean and a nice way to spend part of the day. The bathroom was large and having the washer and dryer was fantastic! Beach chairs and beach towels were nice to have for the beach. The only addition I would add would be a small cooler for folks traveling from afar who don’t have one. I slept great here. It was not loud at night. Overall enjoyed our stay.

This was a very nice condo. Clean with nice decor. The location was great and situated near the village, restaurants and beaches. My teen slept comfortably in the bunk room. Loved sitting on the balcony and the fan offered a nice breeze. We happily used the pool. It was clean and a nice way to spend part of the day. We had such a great stay at Salt Air Villas! The property manager had great communication from the minute I booked the property to the minute we checked out. The condo was stocked with everything needed for a short stay, we didn't have to get any additional things other than our food/drink. This condo has everything you need! Great location within walking distance of the beach and some fun local spots. The Pier Village is definitely walkable but we rented bikes and got to and from the area in less than 10 mins. (HELPFUL TIP: If you’re staying in the area and plan on using Uber or Lyft to get somewhere by a certain time, use the “plan ahead” feature to schedule your ride in advance! Demand is high and there aren’t many drivers so wait times for on-demand rides were very long.) Overall, this place met our needs but make sure you pack the essentials, or plan to purchase some when you arrive. There wasn't much in the way of toilet paper, basic toiletries or supplies to use the advertised washer/dryer. Over the course of our stay we were unable to figure out a sensical way of exiting the pedestrian gate. Each time we went to leave we had to reach through the bars and around the lock/keypad to blindly enter the code from behind. And, if you enter the code wrong, you have to wait a few minutes for it to reset… There were several occasions where we ran into other very confused and frustrated guests trying to exit. On one occasion, we met a guest whose Uber had to cancel and leave because she could not figure out how to exit the property. If you are able coordinate a late check-out, be sure you confirm the time of your key code expiration. We found ourselves locked out of the unit as we were trying to leave for the airport and had trouble getting ahold of the property manager. All things aside, our stay was pleasant and we wouldn’t write off this option for future vacation stays!

The space was great, but the kitchen needs a bit of help. Stove is tiny, and only toaster oven available. (Nice fancy microwave tho). If you're planning on cooking your meals there it was tricky with 2 adults and 2 kids. That said it is clean and comfortable, just better for a couple than a family.

It had everything we needed in the kitchen, towels for the beach (which was an easy 10 minute walk to the nearest beach access) and we enjoyed the balcony in the mornings with our coffee as well as in the evenings. Bed was very comfortable as well. We did not use the small room with bunk beds but it would be a nice space for small children to stay in. Very quiet and the pool was nice as well.

All the bed linen is clean and new, the kitchen appliances brand new, and the house has all the essentials - washer dryer, beach towels, pots and pans, a coffee maker, and a microwave and toaster oven. The bunk beds were great for my four year old and the king size bed was very comfortable for the grown-ups. The apartment has a tv where you can watch Netflix. The apartment complex has a swimming pool and the location is walking distance from the beach, great restaurants and the pier. Thank you for the great experience - we will be coming back!
