Fantastic location, clean, nicely furnished house with a ton of room inside and out. Just a 5 min walk to east beach- or 2 min in a golf cart! Loved the salt water pool and HUGE backyard. Master BD is immense! Will definitely add to the check list for next time.

Just a few things to make it perfect! Previous renter Did not log off Apple TV in master Crate topper on upstairs bed not comfortable and sheets were too small and kept popping off Lightbulb out in master bathroom. Dustbuster would be great to keep sand and leaves up during the week. We LOVE this house! Location is great and it’s very comfortable! The pool is great and yard is beautiful! We saw bananas growing on the tree. We will definitely rebook!! We look forward to our next visit!!! Thank you

The property was lovely and well maintained. It was a bit annoying that we had to plan to bring extra trash bags and tilt paper given the daily rate but i did pack extra. Charging for heating the spa was also ridiculous since we only used it once. The extra fees added on were insane. Will definitely not rent here again

The property and service were excellent. We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The only issue that we confronted was a problem with the air conditioning, but your company responded promptly to rectify the problem. There were small issues that you may want to know about that did not affect our stay. Mold is forming around the air vent in the hall bathroom at the top of the stairs. The balcony that overlooks the pool collects water and does not drain well.

The property is incredible. It is just as advertised. It's comfortable, spacious, beautiful, convenient to local interests, and has everything you need, except spices and condiments, (and they warn you that they are not supplied.) The highlight is the incredible deck, back yard, and pool. The management company was great and responsive.

Where to begin?? This vacation home far exceeded our expectations even though the listing on Vrbo, looked and sounded amazing. It was even better. Our family had an absolute lovely time staying here. Every possible detail to make a stay away from home feel like you are at home was thought of. Everyone one of us (all eight) agreed 100% that we would stay here again and again and again. We found the house to be very comfortable and well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans. The Pool addition to our experience being able to use the beach in the morning with the kids and the enjoy the pool in the afternoon. Important NOTE…the house next store; 615 Brown Drive, must have been rented out, because Friday and Saturday nights were terrible. Both nights we were woken up 1245am by adult persons (college kids) drinking and playing the bag-go toss game for an hour or so…..This was quite annoying….all of the other days were enjoyable. Please know the cost of the last two days of our vacation totaled $1900….the last night we were charged $1124.00 and I didn’t think we would experience this type of disturbance…

The house was very pretty with a beautiful backyard and pool and excellent location. The house had every cooking item and beach supplies you would need. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and about a 15 minute walk to the Village with many little shops and restaurants and cute playground. The property management company Lilmar was extremely responsive. I highly recommend this house.

The house is well designed for family visits and is an easy walk to the beach. Additionally, the house was extremely clean, the yard was very well maintained, and the heated pool (heating available with a heating fee) was great for the family, even on cool days. The house is relatively new, and had received a recent upgrade making it suitable for rental. It is located on a double lot, with a spacious and well maintained back yard. We had a minor problem with the oven, but the rental agency quickly responded and told us where the circuit breakers were located and how to reset them which solved the issue. Although not inexpensive, we thought the value was appropriate. We certainly will consider this property on our next visit to the Island.

This house is wonderful! It was perfect for us--only a few blocks from both the beach and the village. I loved being able to take my dogs, and they had plenty of room in the spacious, fenced backyard. The house is immaculate, well appointed, and comfortable. It is exactly as advertised, or maybe even better. Checking in and out was simple, and the management company took very good care of us. We'll definitely go back.

My family and I had an amazing stay at Oak Beach Cottage. It was so close to the 5th street beach access that we went everyday to the beach. The house was well equipment with everything that you could want and had the little touches that made it so dog friendly with the patio gates so that all of us could be outside without having to worry about the pups. We had a nice stay…the back yard was perfect for the dog and the kids had a blast swimming in the pool . Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the villlage. Would be happy to stay there again

Our favorite part of this house rental was the lovely, warmed pool and spa in the beautifully landscaped back yard. It was just such a nice escape from our busy lives. The house was also wonderful - loved all the beach hues and the beach decor. We felt like there was no detail left out. The table size was great. One of the bedrooms upstairs had and extra foam layer which was wonderful for this grandmother. Plenty of room for all of us to dine and do puzzles. Grandkids had lots of space to help Grandmother cook. Close to the Village and some of the entrances to the beach. Everyone loved the bike riding. Delighted to have a new keurig coffee maker on board as well. It was the loveliest house we have ever stayed in. As far as feedback goes, I was thinking that it might be a good idea to put a toilet brush in the downstairs half bath - a small detail.

Lilmar’s Oak Beach Cottage property is simply stunning! The perfect location with a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to town. Beautiful pool with a high privacy fence. We absolutely loved the house it was BETTER than advertised. Great space, great yard and pool, great location. We were able to walk the dog to the beach and wife and I walked to the village. Had to weather hurricane Idalia one day and couldnt have had a more secure and fun place to be. Will book again

Great house. Perfect for kids with the pool , my only issue was the water system and plumbing.Very unpredictable , sometimes it didn’t work and other times the water took for ever to either heat up or cool off.

Beautiful Property - well appointed - easy access to the beach and lovely beach to walk and play on! The pool was wonderful as a place to have fun in the heat of the day to get out of the direct sun of the beach. Easy walk to the main village and restaurants with the other shopping village a short drive away that has all you can need with Winn Dixie and fast food - Starbucks - etc. Look fwd to staying at this beautiful cottage again! The owners have taken pride in decor and comfort!!!

Oak Street Cottage did not disappoint!! The house was beautiful, and the backyard with the pool was magnificent! Our grandkids spent every minute of down time enjoying the pool and yard, and it was awesome for the adults as well. Very spacious home with lots of gathering areas. It was so nice having a big garage... and we loved taking advantage of the 5 bicycles that were provided. Everything is within a short walking or bide-riding distance. Morning coffee by the pool and a nice walk around town was on our agenda every day. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bedrooms were perfect as well. The information book about the house and town/restaurants was extremely helpful. We would love to stay here again the next time our family of 10 returns to St. Simons. Many thanks for providing us with a house that was true to it's description!!!

The property is wonderful and distinguishes itself as top notch in all categories but to me the real standout that made this property exceptional was the quantity and quality of the backyard. The home is beautifully updated and well thought out for humans and pups alike! Our lovely pup Lilly LOVED the yard. Often you look at pictures of a listing and when you get to the actual property you feel you have been oversold. Oak Beach cottage was better than the pictures. Finally, Lilmar is a much better property manager than my previous experience with Hodnett Cooper. Lilmar doesn’t require stopping at the office and provides soaps and basic necessities for bathrooms and kitchen including 2 full size rolls of TP for each bathroom unlike Hodnett which gives you 2 less than half rolls. I will be looking to rent Oak Beach Cottage again!

Literally no real problems with this place. The staff was very attentive to all of my families needs. The cottage was so relaxing and recharging for the entire family. All of the nightlife and most beach access is within walking distance. The lighthouse is excellent to see at night when it is lighting the path for mariners. The pool light wasn’t working but there was ample light in the back yard to keep everyone happy. This place had a huge backyard compared to other homes around it. The only thing that could have been better on this vacation was not looking out the front porch at the hoarders across the street. We focused our view to the backyard. If you like the sound of rain on a tin roof during a storm then this place is for you. Looking forward to returning to this home on another vacation!

Home by far surpassed our expectations! My family and I relaxed in the pool and hot tub, played cards on the deck, and rode bikes all over! We loved our vacation destination and we will definitely be back! Thank u ☺️

Our family had a wonderful time at this property! We were able to hang out by the pool and hot tub, played cards on the beautiful deck, and rode bikes all over St Simons. It is conveniently located to the beach and shops. We will definitely rent again in the future! Thanks for everything!

Amazing property and location. House is beautiful, comfortable, well-stocked. Pool and backyard are fantastic. Location is great. Easy bike ride to strip with shops/restaurants/ pier and also to East beach. Perfect for adults and children of all ages.

The house was wonderful! It had everything we could have needed plus more! We had 4 adults and 5 children. The house fit us perfectly. It’s was immaculate when we arrived and they were very responsive to any questions that we had. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a fabulous beach home that had everything you could need for a home away from home. We loved the pool, the back yard, back porch area, the garage fridge for drinks and the fully stocked kitchen. Also, having the bikes, beach chairs, and beach wagon were a nice treat. This home was so comfortable for our family and we loved how easy it was to walk to the beach and in to town for treats and yummy meals. Our favorite beach rental ever! Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with others.

This home was the perfect vacation get away. It was not only beautiful but it was completely stocked with everything you could need for a week at the beach. We could walk to the beach but we also rented a golf cart for going in to town and exploring the island. Our family enjoyed cooking in some nights and being so close to town that we could also go out and explore the local restaurants. The pool, backyard and deck were our favorite places to hang out. Having the beach chairs and wagon were very helpful. Lastly, there was plenty of room for our family of 9 to sleep comfortably. We enjoyed our week so much! Thank you for sharing this home. We can’t wait to come back.

We have rented several times in St Simons Island but this house was by far my favorite! Everything was completely updated and the back yard was like being at a five star resort! The management company was extremely easy to work with and gave us detailed instructions of everything we needed to know. Highly recommend this house for a wonderful beach vacation!
