We had an incredible time. The house was exactly as described, the pictures capture the beauty of the property but once you step inside the feeling you get is one of pure relaxation. We will most definitely be booking our vacation to stay at the Island Pearl again!

My family and I stayed July 4th week and before we got to the property all lines of communication was very clear and open the weeks leading up. I never had to worry about getting all the details about the property and how to check in and out as they are very clear with instructions, how to properly care for the property, where to go for entertainment, and restaurants. The property itself was more beautiful in person than it was in the photos which is rare to come by when finding vacation rentals. It was very clean and the rooms far exceeded our expectations. The highlight though and the main reason we chose this property was for its beautiful large backyard for entertaining. The pool was the main attraction and it was great to have my kids play all day in the pool while the adults get to enjoy the shallow end to lay out. I would advise renting a golf cart to make it easier getting around the area and going to the beach. This company also shares local businesses to help make your stay more comfortable & enjoyable. If we ever come back we will definitely be renting through Lilmar Properties. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with our family!

The backyard pool/patio area was outstanding and was the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, the miscommunications were frustrating. A month or so after booking the property, we were told the bunk beds were removed. The bunk beds were a major selling point of the rental since we have 3 kids that would be using them. To mitigate this problem, we were told that the queen beds in the guest rooms were upgraded to king beds. This ended up being false. On top of that miscommunication, there were some unsettling features of the home/property. In the backyard pool are, there is a camera where the light was green. To my understanding, a green light means it is active but not recording, while a flashing green light is actively recording. I did not observe the camera ever flashing a green light, but it is unsettling to know there was an active camera in the backyard. Additionally, there were many rules displayed throughout the house (much more than we are used to as renters). All rules are rules we would have already followed as well mannered guests. Given the number of rules displayed, it does not seem out of the question that one of the camera la could have been monitoring us for oversight. The potentially high level of oversight did not ruin the stay for us though, the house, property, and location were great, there are just a few things that leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Peaceful, relaxing vacation spent with family. House was clean, wonderfully appointed house, very nicely decorated. Really enjoyed the game cabinet with trivia fun nightly. Beds were comfortable. Pool was fabulous!

Adam, we loved the house and the backyard was beautiful and well appointed. The only suggestion or issue would be in the master bedroom. We found the bed to high and was difficult to get in and out of. I would also have liked a chair or recliner of some sort in the master to have a place away to do some reading if desired. We will try and rent again next year.

This property was perfect for our family getaway in St. Simon's. The house has a spacious layout and is decorated very well. The swimming pool is very nice and the perfect setting for non-beach days. I would definitely recommend Island Pearl to anyone, and would like to stay here again on our next trip.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Beautifully landscaped yard surrounds the pool. There’s lots of outdoor space for grilling, dining, and visiting. There’s a ping pong table room, large dining table and kitchen, and a spacious living room. The beds are comfortable. The house is well equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay!

This house was perfect for our family. It was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed hours by the pool each day and then enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. We ended up renting a golf cart to go to and from the town. The beach was very close too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I can't say enough good about this property - and almost don't want to share how much we loved it for fear it will never be avaialble to rent again! We loved it so much, the backyard was a paradise - an oasis of happy! We were overjoyed with The Island Pearl! Only 2 minor comments: there is only 1 king bed (was advertised as 2) and the grill is charcoal, not gas. Kind of a game changer when you arrive late and want to throw burgers on the grill and you're not prepared for the charcoal grill experience. Otherwise, IT WAS FABULOUS and we will go back.

This was the perfect fit for our multi-generational family. The bunk room, game room, & pool were enjoyed by the kids. The adults enjoyed the covered patio and pergola area.

Just an overall beautiful property. Loved it from the second I walked in. I really enjoyed the layout. A patio between the living room and bedrooms blocked all noise, as I go to bed a bit earlier than my adult kids. I grew up in Georgia, parent are from Brunswick/St. Simons. If I were to move back, that's the type of property I would go for.

This is one of the best VRBO rentals we've done. The property has everything you need to just settle in and enjoy SSI. To just name a few things, the kitchen has virtually everything you have at home and maybe a few extra items; towels for beach and home aplenty; beach equipment and games; and more. The pool area is an oasis. The outdoor shower and hose are perfect for post-beach cleanup. The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood and an easy bike ride to all the beaches and downtown. Sidewalks on SSI are fantastic and made for bikes. The communications were appropriate and timely. And instructions were clear up front, during and after the stay.

This is the second year that our family has vacationed on SSI, and we again, had an amazing time. It was our first stay at Island Pearl, and we couldn't have been happier. The property was clean, and laid out perfectly for our family to enjoy relaxing together, but time apart, if we needed it. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and my husband and I enjoyed reading by the pool and then hopping to the chairs in the shade when it got too hot. This home was close to the beach, as well as many of our favorite restaurants. We are sure to come back!

This was our first year vacationing in GA and our stay at your house made it so much more relaxing. Your house is by far the neatest and cleanest we have ever stayed in. The backyard oasis is amazing!! The teens enjoyed the game room when we had to come in during the few times it rained/stormed. We will definitely be booking this house again!!

Our party of 6 had a wonderful time at the Island Pearl. The house was beautiful and just as it appeared in the listing. It was very clean and well decorated. It had a beautiful layout for 3 couples, giving all of us our own bathroom and privacy but so many areas to sit together. Living room/kitchen area was great. The backyard pool area was the star of the show with a beautiful pool, covered eating area, plenty of outdoor seating in both sun and shade, and cornhole. The AC distribution needs to be tweaked since one bedroom did not get much and pillows and towels could be upgraded, but overall it was top notch. One last suggestion is that there is a video camera trained on the pool area that we were not told about and though it was supposed to "off" according to the manager (when we called), we saw the green light on at least once. That felt a little strange, but as we were not doing anything questionable, it was ultimately fine. We would suggest making that camera known to guests and letting them know if it is going to be running. Overall, thank you for a great vacation. Lilmar properties was great to work with in booking the property.
