The condo was very clean and provided everything we needed with a few extras such as lots of beach towels. We had excellent communication with the management and needs taken care of in a timely manner. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay!! The condo is beautifully renovated and spotless. Everything has been well thought for and stocked. Black out shades in every bedroom made for excellent sleep for our two young kids in the spare room and the master bedroom closet was plenty big enough for a packnplay to fit our baby. The condo was beautiful. They have thought of everything. They had beach chairs & wagon. They even have an ice maker. The guest room’s queen bed was a little too firm for us, but we still loved staying here.

This condo was not only pristine and amazingly updated, every update made was clearly a well thought decision in beach comfort. Black out shades on the bedroom windows, ice machine, easy to sweep flooring. The kitchenware stocking was also well thought out with Tupperware, tools, and containers. Everything was amazing. It’s the perfect small family retreat as our two young girls slept well in the dual bed room with black out shade, and our little baby’s packnplay crib fit perfect in the master bedroom closet. This condo is amazing, it has almost everything you can think of. It’s super clean and updated. It has very nice appliances, including a beverage cooler at the wet bar and an ice maker which is great for packing a cooler for the beach. There’s also a beach wagon and a few chairs included. We loved our stay at Beachy Keen and would definitely stay here again!

First time in a long time choosing a condo instead of a home for our first visit to beautiful Saint Simon's. We really enjoyed the creatively decorated and very comfortable condo right on East Beach. A lot of thought went into the furniture, decorations and amenities. The condo community, a mix of friendly owners and other vacationers, made time at the newly renovated pool a lot of fun. The condo owners obviously take pride in their "home away from home" including special extras (very nice bedding, comfortable living room furniture, variety of glassware)for their guests. The only negatives to the condo complex were the occasionally unreliable elevator(only ONE for the whole building)and the VERY LONG beach access path. Overall, Beachy Keen is a beautiful unit that I would rent again.

We do love the Beachy Keen very much. It already has been the second time we stayed in this lovely condo. It is spotless clean, looks very fresh and new, and the view from the terrace towards the beach and ocean is great. It offers us everything what we are looking for! The only thing we would wish for the condo itself, would be a more back friendly bed in the second bedroom. The mattress does not support the spine at all which leads most of the nights to back pain. Furthermore, and we know that this is not directly connected to the condo, but the whole apartment building could be cleaner and better maintained, especially the elevator is old and ugly, and one does not want to touch any buttons. But again, we love the condo very much and will certainly ask to rent it again when we return next year to the island. A great thank you to the whole team of Lilmar for taking such great care of us, and providing us with all the information needed. It is so very easy to book with them and they are always around for questions and support! We look forward to hopefully be able to stay at the Beachy Keen again! It already became our home away from home!

The place is clean and great but it is quite a bit of a walk to the beach. Also, it isn’t exactly ocean view, only if you look far to the right out the window. But, all that aside the place was wonderful and worth the price! The management was great, they quickly helped with a minor issue. We would love to stay again!!!

My husband, 11-year-old, and I had a fantastic long weekend at Beachy Keen. All of the bed and bath linens were plush and made us feel like we were at a 5 star hotel. This unit is fully renovated and VERY well done! The kitchen is amazing, with new KitchenAid appliances that include a separate ice maker--a great treat to keep beach beverages icy, quiet microwave, and impressive French door refrigerator. Decorations throughout the unit are simple and elegant, creating a relaxing, beachy atmosphere. Our only suggestions would be to add a full length mirror to the wall behind the door in the second bedroom and another mirror somewhere in the second bedroom so another guest could dress at the same time someone is dressing in the bathroom.

This condo was in the perfect location for walking to restaurants, beautifully decorated, and well appointed. We loved the sunrise each morning from the balcony and would highly recommend the condo. Everyone we met at the condo were so friendly! We rented bikes on Jekyll Island, shopped in the pier village, climbed the lighthouse, and walked the beach. We would come again❤️

Enjoy a great location right on the beach. I have returned to Beachy Keen on multiple occasions. It is a very well appointed, beautifully decorated, and always clean unit. The appliances are top of the line and the built in ice machine makes cold drinks a breeze. Plenty of seating for dining and lounging. Sit on the deck and enjoy the ocean view. It’s an easy walk past the inviting pool and hot tub to the boardwalk. The adults look as forward to returning as the kids. Enjoy!

This property was absolutely exquisite! All new Kitchenaid appliances throughout and immaculate. Beautiful furnishings and lovely furniture. The only disappointment for us was that the "short walk to the beach" was a little long for us 70 plus seniors. We made it though and had a wonderful time. Would probably go again in a heartbeat.

High end amenities, comfortable beds and unexpected extras abound in this condo. It is nicely-appointed and is located in a good location for our family. Having never been to St Simons, we weren't really sure what to expect. We have rented homes and condos before. This one was at the top. We have a family of 5. While it is only a 2 bedroom, the option for 3 person occupancy in one room worked out really well. There is a view of the ocean from the balcony, and the reclining beach chairs made afternoon naps on the covered balcony comfortable. Speaking of beach chairs, there were 4 traditional beach chairs and 2 reclining. There is also a collapsible wagon to help in carrying gear to/from the beach. We were at the property over July 4th. Because of it's proximity to the beach and ability to view the fireworks, we enjoyed our evening without having to fight the crowds at the pier. There is a pool on property that we used one time. We attempted to use it on other occasions but it was closed for maintenance. We were allowed to use the property next door with a wristband, but those were provided only to property residents who specifically asked for them. They were not voluntarily provided if someone tried to swim in the pool. There were no signs advising residents not to use the pool after it had been shocked. We would most definitely rent this property again for future St Simons stays. Quite frankly, we liked it better than the high-end hotel at which we stayed the week following this rental.

Place is very clean and newly renovated. Loved having an ice machine to fill the cooler. 4 Great Beach chairs came with the condo. Most stress we had in 4 days was no cork screw and small wheels on the beach cart. Check in and check out and codes all worked perfectly. This is def on my will rent again list!

Beachy Keen was perfect in every way! Perfect size for our family of 4 to be comfortable. Renovations were beautifully and simply done. Bedding was nice quality and comfy. Kitchen had a great ice maker and all new appliances.. Great view of the ocean from the porch. Loved the location on East Beach. This condo is located on east beach. It’s a great location. . This unit has been remodeled very well. The furniture is beautiful and comfortable. The bedding is high quality and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything needed. Beach chairs are also available to use. The kitchen has an ice maker which I loved. The only thing I would change is that the thermostat will not go below 70. We were warm and would have liked to turn the temperature down.

Other than a small issue with the floor that I have already sent to by email to be reviewed, our stay was wonderful. We have been going to St. Simons for over 30 yrs so we are very familiar with this property and stay in a 3 bedroom every summer. We also rent a 3 bedroom at The Grand for the months of September. This was our first experience with VRBO and it was a good one.

We loved staying in Beachy Keen. It is decorated beautifully!! We loved all of the furniture . I would like to purchase a sofa and swivel chairs just like the ones in the condo. I loved the fabric and they were so comfortable! The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and very nice. The appliances, ice maker, and wine cooler were great! While the place was a little hard to find at first, once we got there - it was perfect! We didn't have much time to spend in the pool or ocean; however, the room was immaculate, and the location was great! I know with COVID there are certain protocols, but my only suggestion would be the "little things". Maybe a small thing of coffee (I left ours in the cabinette to hopefully make it to the next guest!) to allow for late check-ins and early risers (before a trip to the grocery store). Either way, great stay!

This renovated condo was great with everything you need for a great stay. Location was great, parking easy, smaller complex - all great! Property manager was flexible with check out as well which is always a plus! Will definitely stay again!

Wonderful property! The condo was beautiful with everything you need for a beach retreat. The small complex was very well-maintained and peaceful. Next time we will bring a beach wagon to help haul all of our beach supplies because the walk to the beach is a little further than expected. Would highly recommend this property!

Absolutely stunning property beautifully decorated and spotless upon arrival. Location with great ocean view and short walk to beach. Many delicious restaurants just a golf carts ride away. We highly recommend the Fredrica oysters at the Half Shell and the delicious seafood at Mullet Bay. Our day Fishing Trips with both Mark Noble and Brian out of the Marina located next to the Coastal Kitchen made for an exciting excursion filled with loads of fish and fun. We will be back soon!

Clean, well appointed, great beach access, and accurately described. Minor critiques: beach/ocean view from the unit is minimal, narrow/tight living room, and recycling requires walking around to the public beach refuse area. Since our 2 teens prefer to watch their phones in bed the living room was a non-issue for us...just stating it in case it matters to others. Bottom line, we were very pleased with unit and the easy to work with management. Would stay again.

This condo is adorable! Everything is new and clean, beds were comfortable. It's in a great location, 5 minutes to the pier! It's a little walk to water but that's east coast beach life vs gulf! The property grounds are well maintained and parking is also very close! We would 100% stay here again!
