Seahorse Villa

The house is exactly as pictured and wonderful for a group or large family! The beds were comfortable and we had the best time watching sunrises and sunsets from the porches. We loved the pool and close proximity to the beach. Our only feedback would be getting the pool/yard area sprayed for mosquitoes as all of us left our trip completely covered with bites!

Our family of 11 stayed at the villa for a week and it was wonderful. The home was immaculate, clean, with every amenity you could want. Kitchen well equipped. Beds spotless and comfortable. Plenty of towels for beach and pool. Every piece of equipment worked and the AC kept the house cool in the hot summer (should mention that each floor has its own AC). Elevator was an unexpected convenience. Family room for the kids was great. The week could not have been better and the home is a great getaway for a large family!

Our stay at Seahorse was wonderful. We enjoyed every aspect of our time at Seahorse. We also had many guests stay with us so we were able to share the amazing views and luxury of the house. Lilmar property services were extremely responsive when we encountered some minor items. The communication was immediate and they always followed up. In terms of improvements, we do have some suggestions. The house is amazing as is, but could benefit from some upgrades. Naturally, over time things wear out, so we would suggest the master bedroom get a new mattress. It would also be nice to have a full length mirror in the master closet. Also the bar that we hung clothes on seemed like it may not hold everything. The dishwasher has probably reached the end of its useful life. The stove top and oven are complicated to use (at least for us). Burners and the oven would turn off in mid-use and we could not figure out why. Some directions would be useful. We enjoyed the game room, but the ping pong table and paddles are very worn out. The above are just suggestions on our part. We loved the house and our stay. We have memories to last a long time. We are interested in renting the house again for the same time next year. Please let us know if it is available. Thank you. John and Michele.

We absolutely loved this house and the location. I would give it excellent, but the mattresses were actually SO soft it felt like we were sleeping in hammocks. I also believe there is something wrong with the dishwasher door. Again, aside from these two things we loved the house!

This was our second year at the Sea Horse Villa and the first time under Lilmar Vacations management. First about Lilmar. A definite pleasure dealing with and booking with their company. Always there to answer your questions and handle any issues. The minor issue we had regarding linins was resolved within an hour. The unit itself was exceptionally clean upon check in. Great cleaning service as well as the pool servicing. As for the property the pictures speak for them self. Slept our families of twelve comfortably. Nice quiet street, pool and easy beach access. Easily parked all four vehicles with room for more. Truly a Great Stay. In fact, we've already booked for next summer.

Best beach house we have ever rented...very spacious, and well designed. Two minor things for improvement on a near flawless experience...upgrade the coffee maker...Mr. Coffee was in poor operating condition and needs replacing...also, could not locate a cleaning brush/scraper for the propane grill...maybe it had been misplaced by a previous guest? Thanks for offering up a great property for our family to enjoy!

We just spent a week with our grown kids and their two babies (11 months and 9 months) the best grands in the world at Seahorse Villa. It was awesome. The kids have already asked if we can come back next year. So many wonderful memories were made at Seahorse! The house is everything pictured and more. The balconies are great. You can see the ocean. So beautiful. Great porch furniture on all the balconies. The kitchen, dining area and living room are fabulous. Spacious so everyone could be together. The pool--we went the week before Memorial Day and debating about whether to heat the pool or not. We decided not to and it was a good decision. The water was cool but fine once you got in. And it felt great because we had some hot days! The kids and grands had the floor with all the bedrooms and we had an amazing master suite on the top floor! For the babies there is one crib, one pack and play, one gate (works in the main area so no stair issues), one seated high chair with a tray that straps to a chair and lots of toys for playing in the sand at the beach and the pool. We left an infant float that worked great in the pool. For the adults--there were lots of beach chairs in the garage area where the ping pong table is located. There is also a basketball hoop for the pool and lots of other toys. There were plenty of towels for the pool and beach. And the washer and dryer are great. The elevator was a bonus for unloading and loading! If my elderly dad would have come, it would have been great as there are a lot of steps. The kitchen is great. Well stocked. There is a crockpot, food processor, blender and of course pots and pans! There were a few spices and actually maybe more now because I left mine there! (LOL) We used our rental equipment money from VayKLife for a cart to help haul things down to the beach, corn hole and bikes. It is a beautiful area to ride bikes around. We originally ordered chairs but since there were so many at the house, VayKLife exchanged the chairs for more bikes the next day. Great service and very friendly. The beach--there is a boardwalk right by the house to the beach but it is a trek and the mosquitoes are plentiful on that walk! We recommend walking, driving or riding bikes to the beach entrance that is right off Woods Ave (or is it Street?) Directions: at the end of Olive Way, turn left onto Woods and go less than a quarter mile and take a left. The beach is at the end of that street (which is about as long as Olive Way so short) with public parking. Lilmar Properties--cannot, cannot say enough about how incredible they are from start to finish. So nice, so helpful and so responsive. Great communication from deciding to book, to booking to pre-arrival emails, one phone call to texting while we were there. Outstanding service. Thank you. If you have read to the end of this review, I am not sure what you are waiting for--book it! Enjoy!

We had a great time at this property. The house was beautiful and accommodating to everyone. Loved the balconies and plenty of space for everyone to have family time and quiet time if needed. Also took advantage of the bike rentals which was really neat. It’s about a 15 minute bike ride and we were in the middle of shops restaurants and parks. If I can offer any criticism it would be the house proximity to the beach. It’s a good 10 minute walk and bringing a cooler or anything with wheels was not possible as the trek was a middle wet and merky swampish at times. With little ones and a handicap parent bathroom visits could be a problem. But other than that love the experience and the house.

This was the perfect house for our large group of all ages. Amazing ocean views from the decks on every floor. Most of the sleeping area was on the second floor, while the living area was on the third, which allowed groups to gather and not disturb people wanting to sleep. The heated pool was perfect for a February trip. We will definitely be back.

Our family had an incredible time at the Seahorse Villa. The layout is wonderful, allowing everyone to come together on the third floor while still retaining some privacy at night when everyone heads to their rooms. Our family tries a little trip every year on our way up to the Carolina’s. This years trip was so enjoyable. This house was beautifully designed for large family gatherings. The Master Suite on the top floor was spectacular. The rooms and bunk beds on the second floor was our BabyGrands dream come true. The children loved playing and sleeping all together in that wonderful area that was kid friendly. We seriously can’t say enough accolades about this property.

We loved the solid, expansive house with space for everyone. The kitchen, living Great Room was nice for the family activities. We spent a lot time during stormy part of week. The porches were spacious with great surf views. The pool was enjoyed by the kids when the sun was out. Tues we watched a glorious sunset from the balcony The more adventures did body surfing in the high waves. When the storm came we played games with wind and rain vistas. In spite the storm the family had a great week!

This is a gorgeous property! We had 12 family members staying here, aged from 10-83 years old. The elevator was a huge plus for the grandparents as well as getting luggage and groceries upstairs. The multiple balconies provided incredible views and the pool was a big hit. It’s in an excellent location - do yourself a favor and visit the World War II Museum located practically next door. St. Simons Island is an excellent place to visit and this house made our vacation complete!

This condo is spacious, well appointed, and great for a family or group of adults. The porches from every bedroom are such a plus, and the walk to the beach is short. Be syre to find the instructions for the stove/oven as its operation is very unusual. Lots of towels, great pool. We will be back.

The house is so beautiful and very clean. The views from the porches are great. The layout of the house suited our family perfectly. Our one major criticism is that there is not enough flatware in the kitchen The listing states that it sleeps 14, but there is silverware for 12. And one or two additional comfortable chairs in the den area would be nice. But these issues would not deter us from coming back. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

We were a family from ages 1 to 87. The description of the house was accurate. It’s a beautiful home. We loved the pool area and proximity to the beach. It was very clean. The elevator was useful for my Mom. Bring a portable pack and play and booster seat for infant or small child. You won’t be disappointed in this house.

Our family of 13 (ages 5-65) SO enjoyed our stay. We loved how separated the levels of the house were (though this is a lot of stairs if you have little ones). Beach was steps away and not far from the Pier village! Photos were very accurate and the views from the 3rd and 4th floor were incredible! We will definitely be back!

First and foremost about the Sea Horse rental property is the ocean view from so many inside and outside vantages. Truly a restful respite! All amenities were as described and pictured on the website. Essential provisions (both for kitchen and bath) were amply included. Easy contact-free access to the property was appreciated. The heated pool was a delight with beach towels, linens, bath towels, high end toiletries readily available. It was an easy, short walk to the beach and restaurants and shops were close by. A simply terrific, well equipped, well built oceanfront house waiting for the next lucky family to enjoy.

Loved spending four post election days at Seahorse Villa with good friends. Great place to destress, relax and enjoy the ocean views and serenity of this pretty house. We took advantage of the spacious living and dining spaces and appreciated the comfortable, up to date bedrooms and bathrooms. Fourth floor master is amazing!! Thanks for a terrific time!

It was very very clean, well decorated, great proximity to beach and just beautiful. The one thing that was a little tricky was the layout. The bunk room was connected two guest rooms so You had to go past sleeping kids to get to your room and the bunk room then shared those two bathrooms. We went with another family and it just was a little odd.

This was our second stay at a Vacasa property on SSI and it did not disappoint. The home was spacious, with gorgeous and comfortable decor, and amenities to meet all of our needs. No detail was spared at the Seahorse. The location was fantastic - just a 90-second walk to the beach and a short bike ride to the pier and village. The pool was the perfect size and great way to break up our trips to beach. To top it all off, our local property manager, Roniece, was welcoming and very responsive. We’ll definitely be back soon...if not to the Seahorse Villa, then certainly another Vacasa property.

Sweet beach house just steps from the ocean. We loved our stay. Accommodating, clean, cozy, and all we needed for our beach stay. We were 11 total and had plenty of room and some. The pool was a plus. We rented bikes and spent our days between beach & pool. This house is amazing all around. We used the elevator once when we first arrived. It’s convenient if u don’t like taking stairs but we didn’t mind them at all. Our first time booking through Vacasa and everything was great. Whatever we needed, they replied right away. We asked for more garbage bags & paper towels and got them next day. Lots of towels, blankets ect. Suggestions: garbage by the grill/pool & we think heating of the pool should be included in price per night. It’s a luxury home and should come with it during colder seasons. Other than that, Beautiful stay and we will be back in St. Simons again! Thank you Vacasa & Seahorse Villa:):)

we loved staying at this location right near beach. the only 2 things i would suggest letting people know there were construction guys next door and we would have loved screens on the door so that we could have left doors open without palmetto bugs coming in

Everything about Seahorse Villa was perfect. The location is near several great beach access areas and very near many great restaurants. The views of the ocean from both the third and fourth floor are awesome. We were even able to watch the fireworks downtown from our 3rd floor balcony. Last, but not least, it was spotless.

This house very comfortably fit two families (4 adults and 7 kids). The location is very convenient to the ocean (about 150 yard walk down a wooden path). Pool at house is perfect size for younger kids - they loved it. Kitchen is very nice and had everything we could have wanted. The views from the balconies are better than they look online. Having coffee on the porch in the morning was great. Elevator is pretty easy to use and very helpful when loading/unloading luggage

Seahorse Villa was a perfect place for our family vacation. It was located close to the beach. The views from the decks were beautiful! The house had everything you could possibly need. We loved the convenience of the elevator. Our family of 14 including 6 children under the age of 11 had plenty of room to spread out. We spent a lot of time in the swimming pool as well. Just a perfect trip!! We definitely would love to come back😀

Loved the property. Great family house. Only shortcomings were no towel racks in the master bathroom, there should be a door from the hallway to the bunk room, and not enough wine glasses.

We love everything about this house! We had five children and five adults and had plenty of room. The way this house is decorated is straight out of Joanna Gaines’ ideas! It had everything we needed and more including enough paper products for the first three or four days. The walk to the beach was not bad. The elevator was great for transporting luggage to the different floors. The bunk room was amazing and the kids loved it. There was not one negative thing about this house! The pool was great and was heated upon request a few days after we got there. Thanks for the great week!

We just went to St. Simmons Island for the first time. Seahorse is ideally situated with a close walk to the beach. The moment you enter this home you will be swept away to a wonderful vacation and the most comfortable home we have ever rented. The owner and management company are amazing and responsive. Nothing like it!
