The balcony view was excellent. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated. We had a problem with the coffee maker and called ,John Sparks was there within an hour with a new coffee maker,he was very nice, explained and showed us how to use it.I could not express enough how wonderful Susan from LILMAR was during our stay. The location, relaxing on the deck and the view offset any issues we experienced. Secure parking a plus. No place to hang a wet towel. No place to hang a jacket by the door. No elevator. Takes forever to get hot water (hot when it gets there). We never did fund any network tv stations. Noisy fan inn the bathroom and it's always on. Unhandy doors to closet. Not sure if garbage disposal worked.

This is a beautiful condo in a wonderful location with a perfect view. What else do you need. The setting is so nice we carried in dinner 3 nights to eat on the balcony to take in the lights, stars, boats and sounds from the pier. Lilmar is extremely accommodating. We will be back.

The condo was perfect: whisper quiet inside, squeaky clean, comfortable furniture, and a cooks' kitchen with good quality cookware (no scratched and ancient nonstick cookware!), and lovely dishes. The balcony also had good quality and comfortable furniture. We ate every meal "al fresco" and enjoyed sangria while watching shipping vessels and listening to the sound of the waves. The location of the unit within the building can't be beat: it's a corner unit on the top floor on the East side of the building. From the livingroom you have views of the water to the South and tree tops to the East. The walk to the village is very short. Lilmar Properties was top notch; I had a question at the time of making the reservation and a live person answered the phone (!) and was friendly and professional. During our stay, I texted them and heard back immediately. We would stay again in a heartbeat should we find ourselves back on SSI.

This condo was excellent on all counts! Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Check In was simple and the property management was instantly responsive when I called with a couple of questions. It is perfectly located in the Pier Village with shops and restaurants just outside the gate. I liked that our car was parked in a private, gated area. We enjoyed our coffee each morning on the balcony, enjoying the water just in front of us. We were fascinated by the ocean going ships passing by. We saw several pods of dolphins just in front of us almost daily as well as being in just the right place to observe large groups of pelicans which we learned nest on an island just beyond where we stayed. The ending of each day produced some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen, again from the balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Ocean Pearl, there was no downside for us. I'm already checking our schedule to go back!!

Condo was beautiful, clean and very spacious. Great water view and looks out at the peer. The grounds are very well kept. The main negative is there is no elevator and the unit is on the 3rd floor. Restaurants are not high end but great for families with children. Better restaurants are very close by. The beach is only a few minutes away and very nice - until the tide comes in! Location is absolutely perfect for relaxing with a picturesque view! Very short walk to the pier, shopping, dining and beach. But the pictures don’t do the decor and comfort of this place justice. From the minute we walked in the high attention to detail in decorating this place was obvious. It felt like the owners have gone above and beyond to prepare this property to feel like a family home. Plenty of lighting, comfortable furnishings, and fluffy towels. Very clean and very responsive when we had an issue. We look forward staying here again!!

Great condo and in a quiet location that is tucked into the center of everything. Very clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. Although the beach was further away than I realized, it is an easy and scenic walk/bike ride to the beach with sidewalks!

Great condo. Clean, well equipped. Nice furnishings. Great porch. Private location but near everything. We loved our stay. Only drawback for someone could be lack of elevator. Lots of water in the parking lot, near gate for our stay.

Ocean Pearl was absolutely beautiful and immaculate. You can’t beat the views from the third floor balcony. This rental was ideal for our vacation needs. It’s not the best for sitting on the beach as there’s not one for the majority of the day; however, we we’re perfectly content enjoying the ocean breezes from the balcony and people watching those on the pier. At night, it’s a short stroll to many delicious restaurants in the village. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief getaway!

Property location was excellent; we've stayed in the building previously. Third floor without elevator, with luggage, a downer, but third floor view is very nice. Deck furniture comfortable. Never did figure out how to find network television - no news or standard tv programs for a week. Electrical outlets near the bed for overnight charging and checking the time would have been good. Parking excellent. The location is why we will try renting the property again.

Excellent condo. We visit SSI many times a year as I grew up in Brunswick and on SSI and my family is still here. One of our favorite places to stay is in Pier Point and this is by far the nicest unit we have stayed in. If you are not familiar with the area, it is in the Village, easy access to restaurant, shops and the pier. Perfect location. This is an excellent choice and we will definitely be back.

Dryer needs professional lint cleaning. Lint is packed under lint filter and cannot be cleaned by hand. Unit could use overall deep cleaning. Noticed mold under sink rim and shower tiles. An outdoor ceiling fan would be nice.

Loved it great view. Everything was awesome. The only thing I didn’t like is it didn’t have an elevator and we’re on the third floor at 70 years old. It was tough taking stuff up.

Location, location, location and great amenities! The rooms were spacious, the king bed and living room furniture comfortable, and the patio was so roomy. We loved being able to invite some MI friends over one evening to enjoy drinks together on the wonderful covered patio. Extra bonus was watching the four cargo freighters pass right in front of our condo over our three night stay. It was so close to everything in the village, but the sidewalk infrastructure made it easy to enjoy long walks every day. Definitely our favorite VRBO experience!

There is a shopping/restaurant area literally steps outside your door, and there are wonderful beaches within a 5-10 minute drive. This was a wonderful place in a great location. Closest building to the pier, and a very short walk to shops, restaurants and the lighthouse/museum. We only stayed 2 nights but wish we could've stayed longer. The beach was only walkable when the tide was low but we found some cool shells. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. My kids were happy they didn't have to share a bed in the 2nd bedroom. Would definitely stay here again!

There is no need to move your car after you arrive- Just walk thru the property gate and you are in the Village and can easily access stores for shopping, restaurants, and the pier. This condo was in the perfect location and the view from our balcony was breath taking. Once we arrived, we only had to get in our car once to drive to Jekyll Island for a dolphin boat tour I booked. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The condo was decorated beautifully, only thing I would recommend is whoever is cleaning after each stay to focus a little more on attention to detail in certain areas. The button to turn on the dryer was broken, so it was a little difficult to turn on but worked perfectly fine once yiu were about to turn it on. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property, we would most definitely stay here again.

This condo has been been beautifully renovated. The full size kitchen has everything you need including a large granite bar with stools. Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry room with storage. The open kitchen/family room is bright with plenty of comfortable seating a gorgeous view of the water. The bathrooms are small but very functional. with more than enough towels provided. The master bed was comfortable. I was told that the second bedroom bed weren’t as comfy. The unit is in a wonderful location…walking distance to shops and restaurants. We loved this condo and hope to return in the near future!

Seldom do pictures tell the real story. These did indeed. The property is fabulous. Just like the pictures. Actually the pier was closer than anticipated. Sitting on the balcony, watching the people, pelicans, dolphin and HUGE cargo ships while sipping coffee - PRICELESS! When returning to SSI, there is no question where to stay. Owner was very very responsive with communications. A seamless process. Only drawback..... ridiculously HOT the first week of June!

We really enjoyed our weekend in St Simons Island! The views from the top, corner condo daily were gorgeous. At low tide, you can walk for miles and see all kinds of crabs, seashells and other wildlife. The condo was clean and nicely decorated with excellent communication from the host. As others have mentioned, initially arriving and leaving is a pain without an elevator, but the condo and location make it worth it!

We rented bikes and took long strolls along the waterway to take in the lighthouse and beach areas. Pier point shopping is perhaps 20 yards away through a locked gate (you will have the key) no parking or traffic issues just walk out to shopping, the pier, the lighthouse or the Pier Park. A quick trip and Jykell island is easy and inviting. You won’t be disappointed with this great home.

This is our 2nd stay at Pier Point and will be our go to place when visiting St Simons. The views are incomparable. There is everything you could possibly need here in the condo. Walking distance to The Pier, Lighthouse, restaurants and shops but you still feel like you are in your own little world while at the condo. Gated parking. Fully equipped kitchen, baths and laundry (a must at the beach) We rarely use our vehicle while here. Owner was very responsive with any questions we had. We will be back.

This is the perfect place to be at in St. Simon Island. The view was spectacular and did not disappoint. We saw beautiful sunsets and dolphins in the morning. Everything was within walking distance but far enough away that we did not hear anything except the waves hit the rocks by the beach. The place was exactly as pictured and indicated. We drove over to Jekyll Island and wrote bikes exploring the island. The Trolley tour was very informative and a great way to get the history behind this town. The War World II museum was very well done and very interactive. Overall this was a great place to stay and relax along with exploring and biking.

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and well stocked. The location was perfect. The convenience of a short walk to the village for shopping and dining was a huge plus. The men enjoyed sitting on the deck watching all the fishing going on at the pier while the women shopped. The photos are accurate. Space is good. Outside porch was nice with seating for 6. We kept an eye on the capsized ship they are removing hoping they would haul away a section but they did not yet. I always look to see if there is enough family seating at the dining btable - plenty!! It was a nice place! Make sure to take your key with you for the pool or to exit the compound. The pool did not seem to be heated. Grand kids got in but it was too cold for the adults. The owners were responsive. We did not ever figure out how to operate the fire place or the tv in the bedroom there were 3 remotes to each tv - but was not important though. There is not an elevator - but the amazing view is worth the three flights of steps. We walked a lot. We would definitely come back to Pier Point 301!!

This condo is located on a 3rd floor and in the perfect spot for the BEST views! The owners were very easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions via email prior to our stay. The condo is well-maintained and decorated with all the beach, Cap Cod vibes. Plenty of seating whether you sit at the kitchen bar, dining room table or additional round table in the open kitchen/ dining space. I love that the condo offered plenty of bath towels to accommodate 4 adults and 2 small children. Added bonus beach chairs were stored on the balcony & we were able to enjoy sitting on the beach during social distancing. This is the perfect place to social distancing with a different view! Change your scenery & go visit SSI! This condo is walking distance to the lighthouse, welcome center, restaurants and shopping. My kids loved stopping by the sweets shop on Mallory Street. Darling 2 BR 2 BA condo is in a great location - easy walk to restaurants and shops of Pier Village, and spacious balcony overlooks the pier and ocean. Clean and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. The Golden Ray freight ship that was run aground is right there in the channel, which was a surprise when we first saw it, but we learned about. Nice place for watching pods of dolphins swim in and out of the channel. No beach much of the day due to tides, but East Beach is an easy 1.8 mile drive / bike ride from there.

We loved this condo. Perfect size for our family of 5 and a great location. The condo was nicely decorated with a great size kitchen. My favorite was the large balcony with plenty of seating and a beautiful view. The dock to the beach was right outside and the other side of the condo has a gate right to the pier, shops, playgrounds & the lighthouse. My daughters really enjoyed crabbing off the pier. We bought the net right by the pier. If you want to fish bring your own poles. They don’t sell them but the pier. We also enjoyed walking the beach looking for crabs and shells. Jeykell Island was also a short drive so it’s easy to make a day trip there. This was a last minute vacation and we definitely made the right choice!

We needed a getaway, so decided to “shelter in place” at a place with a different view. There were so many things to love about this vacation: watching the enormous cargo ships go by from the balcony, sidewalks for safe and scenic walks and bike rides , great shops and restaurants just steps away, a spacious living area with bright and cheerful decor and special touches like a Ninja blender, beach chairs and lots of towels. Relaxing getaway for my family of four. Great location and walking distance to the village, bike rentals, many restaurants, parks and more. We loved our low tide beach time without crowds and the pool was super clean. Quiet stay. Easy drive to Jekyll island to the turtle rescue and driftwood beach. We loved the local St Simons sites as well. The kids loved watching the boats in the back as they slowly take apart the capsized cargo ship. Great stay!

Just finished my stay at this property. Highly recommend. Loved the water front view from the family room and master bedroom. Location is great next to the Pier Village area and the Pier. East Beach is the more beachy side of the island or Jekyll Island. It is true the beach disappears at high tide as does a good portion of all the beaches around the area. It is true it is on the third floor with no elevator, but the view is worth it. Could be difficult for the elderly however. The only confusion we had was which key went to what. There is a key to the pool and a pedestrian gate key. That we figured out, but there were two keys in the lock box and only one worked, so not sure what was going on there or what the other key was for. Gated pool area, and Gated place to park your car ensuring you will always have your spot. Very nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Could use some dish soap to wash straggler dishes by hand. Hot water takes some time to heat up, but not a big issue.

We found this unit to be comfortable, decorated well, and a quiet escape right in the middle of town. Steps to all the restaurants and shops, the public pool and mini golf and playgrounds and the pier. Our second trip to SSI and I am so glad I found this unit. We will definitely be back. I really appreciated the open floor plan that allowed us several table spaces and seating areas. It worked very well for our family of grandparents and elementary kids. No shortage of space. The kids enjoyed the condo pool and the adults loved sitting on the porch enjoying a glass of wine and the waves every evening. What a great spot. Glad to have found it.

We stayed there in July 2016 and would return. The location is within walking distance of so many places, and this unit is on the end and quiet. In 2016, there were plants & shrubs planted down below this unit, to attract butterflies & hummingbirds. Besides looking out at the water, there was a huge Live Oak nearby, so the view was peaceful and attractive. We loved the secure parking & being able to walk to so many shops & restaurants. The condo was comfortable, and although we did no cooking, the kitchen was quite stocked. When you walk in, the living space looks like a HGTV remodel because of what the owners did with the living room & kitchen. The decorations were attractive, and the furniture was comfortable. We liked having the option to sit at different tables. You will love, love the balcony! We hope to go back - great shops nearby.

We loved the location of the condo! We are a family of 4 and have stayed at different locations on the island in the past, but we loved the proximity to the pier/village. We could walk from the condo to the pier in about 60 seconds! The condo was very clean and the décor was very nice. The view from the balcony is great! You can see the pier, beach and Jekyll Island. Every morning we could see dolphins swimming past the pier. The beach is only accessible at low tide and the pool isn't very big. That wasn't a big deal to us as we would go up to East Beach to spend the day or if we wanted a larger pool we would walk up to Neptune Park. The owners were very easy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend this property!

This property is wonderful! The location is within walking distance of everything in the village of St. Simon's. The condo is decorated in a stylish beach color scheme that fits the feeling wanted while on vacation. We found everything in the unit to be in working order. St Simons is one of our favorite places. We love the pier area and being able to sit and enjoy watching people fish and the ships pass by. We have wanted to stay in these condos, but never had the opportunity until this year. We were very pleased with the property.This condo was exactly as the pictures showed. It was very clean, neat and well arranged. Being able to park our car in a private parking area was a benefit. Our favorite restaurants and shops were all within walking distance. We were there for the Fourth of July and had a spectacular view of the fireworks from the balcony. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had (which were few). We are already making plans to stay again at these condos.

Not much beach since it is on the harbor where ships come into the channel but we didn't mind we stayed in the pool. Kids enjoyed watching the big ships coming through the channel. The condo was awesome! Hosts were very easy to work with and answered questions promptly. The place is seriously beautiful. We stayed for the 4th of July and the fireworks were unreal. The location is great. We loved drinking wine at night on the balcony and looking at the ocean. This was critical as we traveled with our toddler who goes to bed at 7:30. We also enjoyed being able to walk to lunch (the condo was so nice we opted to cook dinner every night we were there). Seriously just book it already.

My daughter and I visited this condo June 19th, 2016 for a weeks' get away. The location was perfect. We were in the market area, but secluded for privacy. There's always that moment of trepidation when you open the door to a property you haven't rented before. Will it be as good as it looked online? In this case, yes, absolutely yes. As others have said the location is amazing. Top floor, on the corner, phenomenal 180 view. The only noise you'll hear are the waves splashing on the rocks. And as others have said, being able to walk to shopping and restaurants is great. This is a really neat little historic downtown area, upscale but not at all snooty. The unit itself is very comfortable with good quality linens, comfortable mattresses, and a well equipped kitchen. I loved the stash of books, the board games and jigsaw puzzles. We spent a very relaxing week and will definitely book this unit again.

We were so pleased with this condo in every way! The covered balcony was a relaxing place for coffee, reading and visiting, as well as for watching big ships pass by. The village is right beside the condo building and gated parking lot, which is so convenient. The kitchen had all the necessities and the bathrooms were well stocked with towels. This was our first family beach trip and we couldn't have chosen a better VRBO! We wanted to be close to town AND on the beach and this condo was perfect - such an amazing location. The large balcony was gorgeous to drink coffee in the AM and wine in the PM, and the interior of the condo has been well renovated and is immaculately decorated in blues, greens and purples. The condo sits on the southside of the island on a tidal beach that has sand at lowtide in the mornings and evenings - otherwise the tide comes all the way up to the rocks. We were able to get enough beach time with a small child in the AM though...otherwise you can do a quick drive to the larger public beach a bit north. Overall great condo and somewhere we'd definitely consider rebooking.

We have stayed at Tybee several times, as well as Amelia Island; and this condo location was the best of all. We love to park the car, and not have to drive anywhere and that was definitely do-able at this condo. My father in law loved to sit and read and watch for ships; and the kitchen and small round table were perfect for card games with Nana; and arts and crafts projects. Condo was clean, and had all necessities; and loved that there were tons of towels. The pool was perfectly sized; and we never encountered anyone else in it - so our kids thought it was their personal pool. In addition, the condo complext was very quiet - never heard anyone, barely saw anyone else the whole week. Charlene the owner was very accomodating with questions and directions. Our favorite place to catch waves and play on the beach was at the Myrtle Street access point - great waves and nice wide beach, even at high tide. Definitely will consider coming back if we decide to come to St Simons Island again!

Beautiful Condo; Outstanding Views Fantastic Views and a beautifully decorated condo! The owner was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. The location was perfect next to the beach and the pier and all the restaurants and shops in the quaint village. The oversized oceanfront balcony was our favorite spot especially to have our morning coffee! The condo is very spacious and has everything you need. It was spotless and everything in it is well taken care of. Overall this is a fantastic property with a perfect location. This was our first condo rental in St. Simon’s Island and I think we hit the jackpot! – Thank you for having us and we will definitely be back again!!

Our family has rented this condo at least four times beginning the summer of 2014. We love it and don't want to stay anywhere else. The owner is very accommodating and very responsive. The unit is always spotless and has everything you need. We love the location right on the beach, next to the pier and adjacent to the village yet quiet and relaxing. We hope to enjoy more visits here.

WOW,the moment I stepped foot into the condo the views simply took my breath away. I have stayed in many condos in St Simons,this by far has the best view of all. This property has it all when it comes to location,decor and comfort. it is right at the pier and on a tidal beach and has a sweeping view of the ocean,beach,pier and island. Everything is right here....you never have to get into your car .Numerous restaurants and shops are practically next door. The condo had a great ambience and is very tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and high end appliances.It has a great kitchen which is stocked with just about everything you could need.The living area is very comfortable and spacious. My favorite spot was the large oceanfront balcony. Overall this is a fantastic property with a perfect location. This condo is a rare find. Hope to return in the fall again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful property with me!!!
