Indigo Cottage

We had a wonderful month-long stay at Indigo Cottage. It is roomy and well-equipped for dining, entertaining, and just relaxing. Most importantly, all the beds were very comfortable--I asked friends and family who visited throughout our stay. Having two king-sized beds in a rental property is such a treat. We enjoyed the heated pool/spa almost daily and the gas grill a few times each week. The neighborhood is quiet and it's an easy walk to restaurants, the beach, and the village shops and lighthouse park. The few times we contacted the property managers with questions or small issues, they responded immediately. (For example, the pool cleaners left the pool in service mode, so we had no heat control access. Someone was there to fix the problem within 15 minutes!) We would definitely rent from Lilmar again. Loved the place! Great location with pool and spa. We had to pay for pool heating for the entire stay and having only a couple dish washer detergent and trash bags was a bit disappointing for 7 people group for a week with this price but the support was great and enjoyed the place very much. Would come back!

This is a great house! The house is very nicely decorated and was a perfect set up for 2 families with 9 adults (2 couples, a grandmother and 4 young adult cousins who stayed in the bunks which were very comfortable). We loved having a second master suite. The location was great for walking to restaurants, the pier and East beach. We did not take advantage of the pool or spa due to the time of year. We did enjoy the large couches and 2 swivel chairs in the living room and could all sit together to enjoy the nice large screen TV. The kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, utensils, etc. Also, we enjoyed the soap and supplies provided. We had a lovely and enjoyable stay.

Had mother (82), adult children (27-38), and grandchildren (11 & 14) all staying in cottage for a family vacation. Everyone enjoyed and very impressed with the home - so much more than expected. It was close enough to walk to beach, it was clean, and it was beautiful with plenty of room for everyone. We all enjoyed the Island and then home to enjoy the pool. Cannot wait to book another family vacation in same home.

We had the best visit to the Indigo Cottage! It is a beautiful home, well stocked, and perfect for our family of 10. We had three adult couples and four children. We loved the three bedrooms with king-sized beds and our kids had a blast in the bunk room! Not a bad spot in the house! The living room was plenty big and we LOVE having a large dining table where we could all sit together. We used the pool all day everyday! Great size and very clean! The walk to the beach was easy enough but we had golf cart that made the trip to the beach even easier. The only issue we had was a stopped up drain in one of the bathrooms. I texted the property manager and they texted back quickly and were happy to get the problem fixed immediately. We loved it and will definitely be back!

We loved our visit! The house is furnished beautifully and is so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and then some! The pool was great to come back and enjoy after a day at the beach. Wonderfully clean, designed and well-appointed home convenient to exploring the island. Everything you need is here, and all from the plates, to furniture, linens, etc were a level of quality you would put in your own home….did not feel like a rental! Although I greatly appreciated all the little notes guiding lighting, the pool, etc. so helpful. Layout and multiple king beds were perfect. Screened porch and pool area offered a comfortable place to relax after a long day. Surprisingly private given the location. Property management staff was very responsive and helpful. Came out to clean pool on an unplanned day following a storm. Would recommend highly. Or not, to keep it our little secret!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Indigo Cottage! The location was close enough to walk to the beach, and we enjoyed some time in the heated pool as well. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need to cook meals at the house if wanted/needed to. Very comfortable beds and loved that we were able to share the vacation with our dog.

This was our first trip to St. Simons. We truly enjoyed the island and the home. Very convenient to downtown where there are several good restaurants/little shops to visit and the house is also close to a few public beach access points. We rented a golf cart to make the trips to the beach a little easier as far as carrying chairs, etc., but it is also a very walkable distance. The house is very nice with comfortable furniture and beds. The backyard is a private oasis. We really enjoyed the pool and spa and having the yard fenced in for our two dogs was a bonus. We loved our trip and hope to be back very soon! Julie

My family of 6 adults traveled to St. Simon's Island for a long weekend to attend a close friend's Friday night wedding. We found the Indigo Cottage and it was a perfect fit that allowed all (couples and singles) to have their own room and bathroom, with the added amenity of a heated pool. The cottage is beautifully decorated and every thing you could think of has been thought of and prepared so that you can enjoy it. It is a 15 min walk or 3 min drive to the village center, a hub of awesome restaurants and shops, and Neptune Pier where we saw the most beautiful sunset and had a great trolley tour of the island. We loved our stay and would definitely book another vacation as a family here. Besides staying at Indigo Cottage, be sure to grab breakfast at Sandcastle Cafe and a burger at Brogans. Tops!!!!

I was skeptical that this house could be as good in person as in the photos. Much to my pleasant surprise, I was wrong. The layout is perfect for a group of friends to spend time together but also enjoy privacy. The pool is enjoyable, the 3 different porches allow for reading or pleasant conversation. Highly recommend this house!

Our family really enjoyed staying here. It's located within walking distance of the beach and downtown but is off a quiet road so you have a sense of privacy too. We were also thrilled to be able to bring our dogs and include them in the fun.

Great property. Deducting one star for the AC thermostat that kept resetting to 76 deg. Since it's located on the ground floor it ment the upstairs bedrooms were always very hot (78 deg +).

The house was beautiful and in a great location for our daughters wedding at the King and Prince. The only complaint was that the description said that one of the bedrooms had a double and twin bed but when we arrived it only had two twins. Also, the king bed in the master had a bed so high that my 77 year old husband could not get into it so we had to choose another bed upstairs which was difficult for him. Otherwise the pool was great and just the right size, the kitchen was large and well equipped, and the living area was very roomy.

My family and I had a great stay! It was incredibly clean. I don’t even know how they were able to have the back patio as clean as it was when we arrived. It was like the outdoor furniture had just been delivered that day - pristine. My kids LOVED the pool. It really made the trip for us. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There was nothing I needed that wasn’t there. We were delighted that we were able to bring our dog with us. We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to go. Easy walk to the beach, parks, and primary restaurant area.

Clean Appreciate quality appliances and the kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils. Really enjoyed the spacious living room for entire family. The pool was extremely nice. Very confusing instructions regarding trash and recycle pickup.

We just wanted a place to get away and relax, this place was perfect!! Relaxing on screened in porch and having the beautiful pool area as a back drop was great. We especially enjoyed the pool and spa. Close to town and also the beach, we could walk, bicycle or rent a golf cart!! Perfect location. Checking on dates to take the whole family back, with three king bedrooms and a room with twins, should be a great trip! Love this place!!!!??

Casa del Sol was the perfect house for our beach getaway. Dog friendly, awesome pool/hot tub, great location and plenty of space for the whole family. Easy to get into town for groceries, but also just a quick golf cart ride to the beach or the village. We will definitely be back!

This property is just as advertised - great location, great space in the home, well stocked kitchen, pet friendly and having our own pool was one of the highlights of the trip. If there is any negative at all, it would be a lack of pantry space in the kitchen....and that's stretching to find something wrong. We definitely plan to come back!

Lovely property. Very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return some day. The fenced yard was great for the dogs. Pool was wonderful! Easy walk to ocean and village. Very comfortable beds! The property management was very helpful and responsive to our needs. We weren’t able to get the grill working, though, even after asking for assistance. Not a big deal as there are many great places to eat and get take out on the island and the property is close to all. DVD is advertised but hooked up to tiny tv in the twin bed room and difficult operation so we didn’t end up using. Again, not a big deal because...pool, ocean and cable and streaming available on large tv in main room. Lastly, roof top deck is dirty and wet and I wouldn’t recommend it’s use (or advertisement in the property). We did not miss it because everything else was great. Overall, I highly recommend Casa Del Sol!

The home is very comfortable. Having beach towels for guests was a huge positive as we forgot to bring our own. The walk to the beach was about 20 minutes and so pleasant! So much to do... we had never been to the area and loved exploring. We were accommodated for an early check-in which was so nice. We tried to extend for later check-out but unfortunately, they needed to turn for new guests. The pool was very nice and it is well suited for dogs. They have a special area for the pups to go and even provide the important scooping tools for cleaning up! If we visit the area again, we’d check out this property management company first! Had a blast!!!!!

We really enjoyed the house. It is in the perfect spot in St Simons. The house is huge, sleeps 8 so it should have at least one more garbage can. Also, some instructions came after the booking like having only 4 cars which is a little hard to manage for a house that big. Had I known ahead of time we would have tried to manage the travel differently. Otherwise it was rwally nice. I would stay again.

We loved this home; it was very clean and well stocked. The pool/hot tub was amazing. The hot tub had some of the most powerful jets I’ve ever experienced, and the yard area felt very secluded and private. It was in a perfect location-walking distance to the beach and close to groceries and restaurants. It being pet friendly was an added bonus!

I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Sol. The home was perfect for our family and very clean and cozy. The paint colors and decor were very beachy and relaxing! We loved having a fenced in yard for our pups and they had a pooper scooper on premise which made clean-up so much easier. The location of the home is great because you are close to the pier and all the shops and restaurants there. We rented a golf cart for the week and it was perfect to take to the beach or to a restaurant. The pool and spa are great but my one complaint was that you can't just heat the spa without heating the pool. You have to pay to heat the spa and you can't just heat the spa alone because the pool and spa are on the same heating system.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Sol. The house was great, loved the colors and decor. The one issue we had was with the pool. The pool had to be cleaned by us daily because of all the debris falling off the tree. The pool guy, Andy, who came Wednesday and Friday, was very personable and helpful. It would have been nice to have a little electric blower to also blow the sidewalks of all the debris. The pool and spa are on the same heating unit which was unfortunate. The pool was too warm and the spa would go from warm to hot and it took some time to figure out how to keep the spa hot. It would be helpful to have instructions on this next to the spa/pool unit on the porch. My only other complaint which is minor, was with the laundry. It was hard to get to and on the upper floor in a bathroom. However this isn't something that can be changed so understand that just dealing with this for a week is not a huge deal. We loved sitting on the front porch and rocking in the chairs and we loved that there was a gate in the cleaning closet as we were able to use that on the front porch to keep the dogs up there with us.

This property was just as it was listed. The pool and hot tub were a great plus. We had one question on the property and the management got back to us within a few minutes. The location is close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants. The beach we used was a very short drive. Lots to see and do on the island. I would recommend this house for a great get away.

My husband and I spent 6 nights at Casa del Sol and enjoyed it very much. Easy walk to the beach every morning and then back for lunch and lounging by the pool. Was great to have a place for our little Yorkie to be fenced in and safe. Really, just can't say enough. The folks at Lilmar were incredibly responsive. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Just a lovely home in a great location.

We love Casa del Sol. Since this was our second year to stay here, our 5 year old grandson calls it our vacation home. With 3 king beds, 2 bunk beds and 3 baths, it accommodates our family perfectly. The close proximity to the beach and the downtown area was convenient. However, the pool was everyone’s favorite activity. We hope to be back next year and make Casa del Sol a family tradition.

Lilmar Properties impressed me starting with the reservation process. Susan was very helpful and professional. We rented Casa Del Sol. It is the best home I have ever rented. Clean, well appointed and comfortable. I will definitely use Lilmar Properties again!

We had a wonderful stay and loved the house. We felt we had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked. The beach and the village was a short walk away and we spent every afternoon and evening lounging at the pool. We’ve spent 20+ years visiting SSI and this was one of the best!

From check in to check out everything was fantastic! Place was immaculate when we arrived! Four large bedrooms. Pool was great! The house had a lot of extras that were very nice. Pool floats, propane grill, even puzzles, books and games in the family room! Would HIGHLY recommend and hope to reserve again for next time. Close to restaurants and beach.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was amazing, pool was relaxing and excellent carry out close by. The seafood was great. Beach was not crowded. We loved SSI and recommend this house 100%. Perfect location.

First impression was perfect - very clean inside and out when we arrived. Kitchen well stocked with plenty of utensils, cookware, glasses and various tools and small appliances. Very well maintained overall and small touches like decorations, art work and even towels for the dog really made it a true home away from home. Perfect stay for us! The pool area and backyard is private and fully fenced in. The natural gas grill was in great shape. Plan to spend some time out back!

We stayed in this home with another family and our dogs. It was a comfortable layout and floor plan for all of us. We could walk to the beach, the village, restaurants, and parks. The yard/ pool area is very nice although too many leaves in pool. The home was clean and very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return.

Casa Del Sol was such wonderful place to stay. It's in walking distance to the beach and the village, anything else on the island is only a short drive. The house was super clean and all the beds were really comfortable.

Awesome house and great location. We enjoyed this house with the pool very much. You can walk or ride bikes to many shops, restaurants and the beach from this house. The home is well equipped and the pool is private. The property managers were a pleasure to work with. We will be renting this house again.

The house was perfect for our family. We had everything we needed. Felt so comfortable and welcome there. Close to town, close to the beach. Loved the property and can’t wait to go back. We were evacuated due to the hurricane. Management kept us alerted so it was a managed evacuation that went smoothly. Kitchen was stocked well, decor peaceful and perfect for our group, with the pool area wonderfully relaxing for our short stay.

My husband and I, our grown children, spouses and grandson (and family pet!) stayed at this property for a week. We loved the pool, the house layout and all the thoughtful amenities, like a booster seat, toddler bed and pool toys. We would highly recommend this warm and welcoming home for your island stay! This cottage is beautiful, has a great location really close to the beach and is convenient to the village. The pool is wonderful with lots of lounge chairs for relaxing and even a large supply of beach towels. There is a brand new state of the art Bosch dishwasher. We had three families together comfortably.

This is a lovely home with all the amenities you'll need. There were starter supplies and stores close by for stocking up on necessities. We lived on the screen porch and pool area. Our favorite restaurant was Echo at the King and Prince Resort. We also had a nice meal at Georgia Sea Grill. The beach is in walkable distance but not with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, etc. We preferred the East Beach away from the downtown area. There were no issues at the house our entire stay. I had one question and it was answered promptly.

Our family (3 couples and 2 preschool grand children) thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at the Casa del Sol. The arrangement of 3 bedrooms with king sized beds and 3 bathrooms allowed everyone to have the space and privacy they wanted. The fourth bedroom turned into a playroom for the grandkids. The pool was fantastic and the fenced yard allowed even our dogs to have a great vacation. The walk to the beach and the village were very doable, even with the little ones. We have enjoyed vacationing at SSI for several years; but everyone agreed this was the best year ever because of Casa del Sol.
