Golden Hour

We had a fantastic time at the Golden Hour! It was a really nice layout and in a fabulous neighborhood. I absolutely loved the design choices (especially the upper level)! The home feels spacious and comfortable. A few blocks from the beach and an easy golf cart trip to restaurants/shopping. I would book again!

The Golden Hour Home was one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. The bedroom and bathroom situation was ideal. The pool was clean. The kitchen had two dishwashers and was stocked with everything you need. The management company responded promptly to every message.

This property is beautiful. It is even more spacious and lovely than the pictures show. We had everything we needed to host our extended family and some friends, including a well-equipped kitchen with professional-grade appliances. We were gathering from all across the country to celebrate the wedding of one of our three daughters, and this was the perfect spot to gather everyone for a family vacation for the wedding week. I must admit that there were many stairs to climb, and while an elevator would have been nice, we had the benefit of a workout throughout our stay. (If you have anyone in your party with mobility challenges, this may not be the best choice, but for our group, we managed fine.) We give our highest praise to the management team. When we had any concerns or questions, they were quick to respond and fulfill our needs. It was an amazing week!

It was a perfect setup and layout. If you have somewhat of a rowdy group be prepared for the neighbor to say something. Overall great time and experience!

Unfortunately our stay was cut short because of the hurricane and loss of power on the island, but the Golden Hour was a great location and house for our needs. We'd come back again.

Great house for a summer beach vacation. Close to beach and marsh in East Beach (the best neighborhood IMO), quick trip to town. Home is large, clean and easily accommodates multiple families. What We Loved: Plenty of rooms, great layout with plenty of seating and separate spaces for adults/kids, larger bedrooms, beautifully decorated in a Serena & Lily vibe, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen with two fridges and dishwashers (kitchen goals!), two washers and dryers, lots of beach and pool towels, great pool area, outdoor shower and private backyard, plenty of driveway space and a garage. What We Didn't: Screened in porch upstairs has high walls, can't see to pool below, need to be on the lower deck. Collects a lot of water when it rains. But still a great place for a cup of coffee. Some furniture could use some TLC, upholstery cleaning - expected in a rental. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Golden Hour was a fabulous property. The layout is wonderful for families with the 1st floor bunk room for all the kids. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was stocked so nicely with everything we needed. The pool was a huge hit. It was a large pool and super fun to have a shallow and deep end for the kids and all to play. The location was amazing and we used the 11th st. Beach access often. We rented several bikes and so enjoyed the charm of the island, especially the east beach area. The bedrooms and baths very nice. Only suggestion for improvement would be a new queen mattress but all the other rooms h the beds were good. Thank you and we hope to come back.

We enjoyed our stay and the pool was wonderful. I would rent again. A few things I wish that would be added to make the experience nicer would be soap dishes so soap is not lying on the counters, towel bar in main floor powder room, room darkening shades or curtains that you can pull shut, more paper towels and toilet paper provided, rafts/donuts for use in the pool, more comfortable mattresses.
