Susan has been a full time resident of Saint Simons Island since 2016. A Spartanburg, SC native, Susan is a former teacher, having taught for 15 years in both public and private schools in South Carolina and Georgia. Prior to teaching, Susan worked in guest relations at Wild Dunes Resort, Isles of Palms, SC and as an Executive Assistant and Interpreter for Zeuna Starker USA, GmbH, a BMW Automotive Manufacturing supplier in Greer, SC. She and her husband, Steve, have two children, Lauren, who is a freshman at the Savannah College of Art & Design, and William, who is a sophomore in high school.
