Brytons Cottage

We had the best time staying here for Labor Day Weekend. The house is super spacious and so comfortable. It was also impeccably clean. We had all the things we needed and more. The location can not be beat. Just a walk or golf cart drive away from all the local restaurants, multiple parks, the beach, bars and shops. Communication with owners/managers was easy and quick. Highly recommend this house- hoping to book again in the near future!

We rented Bryton’s Cottage for an extended family trip over Labor Day weekend. The house was super clean, organized, very roomy and had all the things we needed. The Lilmar team was very easy to get in touch with and have literally thought of everything with this property. We had the best time and we were so close to all the restaurants and fun places to take the kids. The only tough part was the 10am checkout. Even an extra hour would have been nice to get out and wrangle all the kids stuff. All in all it was a truly amazing trip. We hope to come back in the future!

We enjoyed our family vacation here, the home was spacious enough to accommodate 12 people. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked and fully utilized for cooking family dinners. Management company was also attentive and quick to respond to inquiries. The Pool was spacious, and was bigger in person, the pictures don't do it justice. There were a few things that could have made our stay even better: - Kitchen fridge took over 12hrs to get cold, nearly spoiling our food. Fortunately, there was a working fridge in the garage. - Kitchen wine fridge doesn't work - Upstairs cottage had a weird smell coming from the AC unit. Not sure if it was a cleaning agent or what, but it smelt like a Doctor's office - Living room TV has a backlight issue, causing TV screen to seem more blueish. - Many fan remotes had dead batteries (non-standard size). - Many mosquitoes in the area, not just home, but around town in general. But they were vicious in the back and front porches. (Bring mosquito repellent) - Provide a couple of complimentary K-cups upon arrival - Add verbiage on the listing that the Garage is usable and can be used to park your car - the biggest negative: HORRIBLE smell coming from up the street, restaurant dumpsters. The smell is absolutely horrendous, and walking to downtown was very unpleasant because of this. This is something local store owners and residents should reach out to the city and perhaps have these trash bins emptied daily and washed maybe periodically. The smell carries and you can smell it even from the driveway at times. I've never smelled anything this bad. Maybe restaurants can better package and seal their trash bags before discarding. You literally need to hold your breath as you go by. Despite the items mentioned above, this did not make the 7day stay anything short of magnificent. But hopefully some of those line items can be addressed and improved upon.

This property was fantastic for our family to meet and gather for the Fourth of July. The house was conveniently located near golf, restaurants,all the holiday happenings, and the beach! It was walking distance to the fireworks, a park, and some yummy eats and fun shops. We had everything we needed at the house and did not not have to contact management one time. I highly recommend this for a.large group or family. The pool was relaxing and was thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Brytons Cottage is well appointed. You will have everything you need for a great vacation at this home. It is an easy walking distance to the village. The pool is well maintained and provides endless hours of enjoyment. This is our second time staying here and we love it. If one thing could be added, it would be a handrail at the pool steps.

The property was very clean. Bathrooms were set up like a hotel with towels, soaps, conditioners - better than many VRBO homes. Spacious homes with plenty of rooms on main level and upstairs. A block away from town for restaurants and shopping, a 5 minute walk to the pier. We were in town for a golf weekend and would love to stay here again.

This was our family's first time in St. Simons and we loved every minute of it! The house is within walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants which we took advantage of. The house was well equipped with linens and kitchen accessories! The private pool was amazing after a hot day at the beach.

We just finished a fun week at Bryton's Cottage. It was a wonderful house for our multi-generational family vacation. We spent a lot of time cooking together or enjoying the swimming pool. We could be together when we wanted but the house is set up so that each family had an area that was their private getaway. The location was good for walking to a beach, the pier, or the many restaurants. We hope to go back again someday!

The Brytons Cottage is a lovely property. We had 8 in our group. The pool area is clean, good seating, and plenty of pool "toys". We cooked several dinners and found everything we needed in the way of kitchen appliances and amenities..lots of dishes and silverware. We enjoyed the location, as we could walk to the main street area for restaurants and shopping.

We are from out of state and met friends in St Simons to enjoy a long weekend together. We stayed/ate in most days and the house was very comfortable and accommodating. We used the pool each day, which we were glad we heated. Overall it was a great visit and would definitely stay here again!

We had such a great week at the Bryton’s Cottage. We had 8 adults and 3 young children (ages 3-5). The floor plan for this house was outstanding- 3 bedrooms, large kitchen/island, dining area and family area and laundry room all on the first floor and 2 bedrooms and full bath on second floor. There was a sizeable room over the garage that included a wine cooler, sink full bath.;this room was used as a bonus room for our early riser grandchildren. Outside there was a nice sized pool and porch area. We will probably rent here again as we don’t think we could find anyplace this great

Bryton’s Cottage was the perfect choice for our family vacation. The house was well equipped and beautifully decorated, the beds were comfy, and the pool area was ideal. Being just one block from the Main Street, the location could not have been better. We will definitely come back !

PERFECT!!! Our family of 5 adults and three children under 6 couldn't have been happier. This home has everything you could ask for. Fully stocked kitchen with spices, cookware and dishes. Toys for the pool. Top quality bedding and linens. Walking distance to town on a quiet dead end street. Management very responsive to any questions or requests.

The home was absolutely wonderful for our small group stay. The house itself is a short walk from the central shopping strip (maybe two minutes), the pier (maybe five minutes), and the public beach (maybe ten minutes), but it's also great for just staying in. The bedrooms provide a great mix for those with different needs, and the kitchen and living room are gorgeous and provide great communal space. The pool and grilling area outside are great for getting together without making too much noise for those inside, and the natural shade (pool on south side of home) keep it from getting too hot in the summer. We really did love our stay and would certainly do it again.

We stayed with a small group including our family and some friends. The home is located just off of the main shopping district and a short walk from both the pier (maybe five minutes) and the public beach (maybe ten minutes). Check-in was very simple, and the property managers were quick to respond to a small request. The bedrooms were a great mix for those with different needs, and the kitchen and living room combined for great communal space. Outside, the pool and grill area provide space to interact without making too much noise indoors, and the natural shade (pool on south side of house) kept it from getting too hot. We all loved it. We'd definitely do it again.

The “cottage” is in the perfect location tucked away at the end of a culdesac, with easy walks to shopping and wonderful restaurants. The house is very well appointed with everything you need to make delicious meals at home (including a well stocked spice cabinet!), the bathrooms were well stocked with towels and even beach towels are provided. We had the option to use the Keurig or a drip coffeemaker (the hosts even provided ground coffee!). This home was spotless and the beds were amazingly comfortable! We loved the openness of the kitchen and family room but had more than enough space to spread out for alone time too. Thank you Beth and Adam. We look forward to coming back next year.

This property was perfectly tucked at the end of the street that allowed us to walk into town where lots of fun shops are located. It has a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels and other amenities. We had four couples and because of its size each couple was able to have their own bedroom and bathroom. The back patio allowed us to sit out there and have wonderful conversations under the Spanish moss and the beautiful foliage in the area. Highly recommend this place

Very beautiful home. Was extra clean on arrival I felt very safe in this home! Beds so comfortable with high end linens and pillows. The master bath shower was amazing!! My only complaint would be the lack of cooking utensils such as spatulas and mixing bowls. We bought a spatula to leave for others to use. The air conditioning unit is extremely loud in the master bedroom. We didn’t call anyone while we were there just dealt with it. I did mention on our last day to management and she was very apologetic!! Overall it is a great house. We had 14 and still lots of space. Rented golf carts and was a quick trip to any take out restaurants!! Walking distance to everything but golf carts make it even better!!

Perfect get away! Kitchen has nearly everything you need! Keep in mind it’s a Keurig not a coffee pot! The walk to the beach only had accessible sand at low tide, but just a short drive to park for beach access. Will for sure be keeping this property in mind for future stays!

We loved the house. The pool was perfect. We had 12 people and there was more than enough space to socialize, eat and enjoy each other. The town was just 1 block away so that was super convenient. The beach is a bit of a walk but it was worth it.

Bryton’s Cottage is absolutely amazing! It is in the perfect location, with a short walk to the Village, Pier, & Lighthouse. Even though the house is in town, the location has a lot of privacy. The house was exceptional and the pool was fantastic after a long day at the beach. All of the bedrooms were very spacious and the open living room/kitchen area was the best! The owners have been very quick to answer any questions. We will definitely be back and already looking to book for next year.

Everyone in our group of 4 teenagers and 3 couples loved this house. It's less than a block to the Main Street and a few blocks to the ocean, but is at end of a dead end street, so it was very quiet at night with plenty of parking. The separate suite over the garage was great for my parents. The house was spotlessly clean and both the house and furnishings looked very new. The kitchen had all necessary equipment for cooking and baking (all of which looked new and good quality) and we loved the warming drawer. Grill, oven, dishwasher all worked great. We enjoyed the smart TVs with access to Amazon, Netflix and other apps. Management responded immediately to a couple of questions I sent by text. We loved the decor and the openness of the floorplan allowed everyone to enjoy each others' company whether they were in the kitchen, dining room or living room. Highly recommended!

The property was perfect. It was spacious clean well-appointed and close to everything. We had a cousins reunions of 12 people. We were never crowded but comfortably close to enjoy one another. We're planning to return next year.

Walking distance to village and pier. House was very clean with plenty of towels! Communication was great. Ample parking for 5+LARGE vehicles. We will be back next year!!

This was our first time at St Simons and we loved how relaxing the atmosphere was. This particular home was a perfect location to all the main attractions. Just a simple walk to food, shopping and the pier/beach area. The pool was a decent size for our group of 11 people. The house its self was PERFECT!!! The pictures are exactly how it looks on the inside and out. It was also VERY CLEAN and that is a huge deal breaker for us when traveling. Would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing vacation.

Great location in walking distance to fishing pier and shopping village. The beach was a 5 minute drive from the home. Accommodations were exceptional and well taken care of. I'd recommend adding a TV in the upstairs twin bedroom for the kids. The next door neighbor came over one day while the kids were swimming and having fun in the pool and the adults lounging to tell us that we were "too loud" (even though I could barely hear the sounds from the street). We obliged her to be courteous but that did dampen the mood a little unfortunately.

Our group of friends with kids had a blast vacationing in SSI. The home site was close to shops, beach and the fishing pier. The Mellow Mushroom pizza restaurant was a hit as it was within a 5 minute walk. Kids loved the pool and there was ample sleeping areas. I'd recommend a TV be installed in the twin bedroom upstairs where some kids slept. All other bedrooms have TVs.

Our large family just completed a short but relaxing stay at Bryton's Cottage. I'm in agreement with the positive reviews on the location. It was perfect for us. While I wouldn't say it's very close to public access beach areas, it's certainly manageable. It IS very close to the downtown and pier area. Easy walk. On the end of a dead-end street, it created a quiet oasis of solitude. The house was fantastic. It was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied. The open floor plan gave lots of room to gather as a family without feeling tight. The pool was enjoyed by all. Adam and Kim were attentive and a pleasure to deal with. Overall, this rental exceeded our expectations and we'd highly recommend it.

This home was in a perfect location! It had something for all of the ones in our group! Whether you want to have a chill day by the pool/lounge covered area, walk to the shops,pier, or beach this place is the rental for you! The common area accommodated our whole party for meals and social time. The bedrooms were very spacious. We spent a lot of time outside by the pool which had very comfortable lounge chairs. This was our first time to St Simons and it impressed us so much, we will definitely be back to this rental!

Two minutes walking distance to all the towns attractions yet a private oasis. The home was so much more than described. We had three families at the house with plenty of room and privacy. The side porch in the afternoon was a pleasant place to visit with others and unwind with a cocktail before the evenings outing in town. We found the location to be a great launching pad for all the areas attractions both historical and new. We hated to leave and will be back for another stay at this property !

We couldn’t have asked for a better location. It was just a few minute walk to the village with restaurants, shopping, and a pier. The house was amazing and comfy. The pool and lounge area was relaxing. The home was perfect for all 9 of us, with room to spare. We will definitely be coming back!

This spacious house has all the comforts to accommodate large family get away vacation. Great pool area for kids and entertainment. Its location is wooded and private, yet convenient 5 minute short walk to downtown and beach area. Highly recommended!
