A great property located in a quiet neighborhood. Interior appointments are of high quality. Suggest replacing key box for entry. Numbers hard to read and box not easy to operate.

WOW! Luxury meets St. Simon’s!!! We traveled from FL with our two children (9 & 4) to enjoy a little bit slower of pace. By far the most relaxing week we have ever had! 10 Fern couldn’t have been more amazing!! From the decor to the insanely comfortable furniture/beds it was absolutely perfect! The outside pool, downstairs swings & game room knocks it out of the park! Our children ranked this as “the best vacation ever!” We rented a golf cart and 10 Fern Ln was located in such a great location that we were truly able to enjoy everything that St. Simon’s had to offer! We can’t wait to return!!!

The house was lovely, well furnished, clean and just what we were hoping for. We chose to be away from the hustle and bustle of a tourist area . A great value for the money. It’s in a quiet walkable neighborhood away from traffic but drivable to amenities. Our week’s stay was a bit chilly so we were not able to take advantage of the beautiful pool.

Where to start - the Island Escape at Fern is a beautifully decorated, modern retreat with a central location that feels more private. Kitchen is fully stocked, the attention to detail throughout the home is appreciated. Plenty of parking including covered under the house. Game room was a hit with our teens, and they loved the swings. Every gathering place was used throughout the week. Lilmar is a pleasure to deal with - very responsive, helpful when needed, great people.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home . As soon as you walk through the front door, you feel as though you have stepped into a magazine . The home was decorated beautifully and was very well stocked with anything we could have possibly needed . My teenage boys loved all of the outdoor spaces and the pool area . We had plenty of room for our entire crew. Furniture and beds were all super comfy ! The home was in a great location, convenient to all of the shops, restaurants and beach . The management company checked in often to see if we needed anything . We will definitely be back !

This home is amazing! It had everything we needed for our stay. We cooked in a few meals and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything we could possibly need. The beds are all very comfortable and the rooms are all very spacious. It has amazing outdoor spaces that are great for families. The pool and gameroom were a big hit with the teens. The Guest info book had great restaurant suggestions with menus included. The suggestions were all wonderful! It was awesome to go to the beach and have all chairs, towels, etc... provided. We loved the privacy of the home and how close it is to everything. We will definitely book this home again!

This was our absolute favorite house! My daughter said that it’s just so comfortable everywhere! The only issue was the internet would go out now and then but it was an easy fix. I had so many friends ask about the house and I sent them the addresss and told them to contact Lilmar! The screened in porch area is fabulous! We hope to come back and stay again soon!

We have stayed at dozens of vacation homes and it doesn't get better than Island Escape at Fern! Everything was perfect. There were so many great outdoor living areas where we enjoyed watching some games, playing some games and just hanging out. Both screened and shaded areas. So cozy! Also, it felt so private with trees and wild areas surrounding the back of the property. Saw many great birds. The kids loved the game room and spent hours playing ping pong there. The living room was so comfy and we enjoyed watching movies there with the family. All of the bedrooms were so plush and comfortable, especially the main bedroom. The bath in the main bedroom was luxurious with a huge shower and garden tub. Such a relaxing room. Kitchen had everything we needed and was super clean. Quick drive to the beach and lots of great dining options very close by! Would highly recommend staying here!

Amazingly felt like home! Thank you for sharing this beautiful retreat with us. This was our family's first vacation in St. Simons Island. Perfect house for a perfect first visit to St. Simons Island. We came to celebrate two birthdays and this home was all we could have hoped for. The pool gave us relief in the hot afternoons. The property was truly exceptional, and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. I've never felt so relaxed during a vacation, able to leave behind the typical daily life problems. The highlight of the property is undoubtedly the pool, which is incredibly private due to the property's clever design and layout. It gives you the feeling of being on your very own secluded island, and that was precisely why I chose this house in the first place. I must say, it didn't disappoint. The house's interior decor and overall cool factor are off the charts. However, what prevented our experience from being excellent were three issues: the control of the air conditioning, the quality of the beds, and the internet. Like many hotels, the property has thermostats that restrict your control. While it does allow you to lower the temperature to a comfortable 68 degrees, the thermostats are located under vents, causing certain areas of the house to cool down much faster and other parts, like the bedrooms, to stay warmer then 68. As a northerner who prefers a colder sleep environment, I found the bedrooms to be warmer, and the memory foam toppers on the beds exacerbated this issue, trapping body heat and making it uncomfortable. Even my wife experienced discomfort due to the warmth. Considering the price, I expected more control over the temperature and fewer instances of the thermostat resetting to 78 degrees. As for the beds, they all have memory foam toppers, but the mattress in the primary bedroom was less than satisfactory. It felt like sinking into a hammock, leaving me with backaches in the morning. Personally, we have Purple mattresses at home, which are both cooler and offer better support. Toward the end of our stay, we started using the upstairs bedroom, which had a much better mattress, but it was hotter since it was on the second floor. I travel a lot and this was by far the worst mattress I ever slept on. The internet speed was impressive, but it would occasionally freeze or hiccup at least once a day, requiring a router reset to resolve the issue. This was particularly frustrating we relied on internet access for entertainment, as there is not cable TV but supplied access to YouTube TV for free. It was especially inconvenient when we wanted to watch TV by the pool, only to find that the internet was not working correctly, preventing access to the provided YouTube TV and streaming apps. Despite these relatively minor issues, we would definitely consider booking this property again. In fact, while we were there, we jokingly discussed buying the place if we won the Powerball jackpot that was growing during our stay. Provided that the beds are improved, there's a bit more AC control, and the internet issues are addressed, this place would undoubtedly be excellent in my book instead of great. The photos really do not do the place justice, I was still blown away by the place, and I had look at every photo in detail before I book. It really is a fantastic little hideaway on your own, but a short drive or golf cart to all the popular parts of the island.

We stayed at the Fern for our weekend get away. Very comfortable property with all the necessary appliances. The front porch was great and screened which was great. Pool was a little smaller than average sized bout still good for family fun. Table tennis in the game room was also a great plus. Decor was modern and place overall was very clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Island Escape at Fern. The feel of the house felt very high end/luxe. My teenage daughters spent countless hours in the pool and the screened porch is a great place to hang out. The kitchen was very well stocked and we were able to cook full meals at the house. The location is great and in a beautiful area of the island. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed going to Wake Up Coffee and the short ride to the beach. There is ample parking at the beach so driving was not an issue. We can’t wait to come back in the fall and make more family memories!

This home is so well equipped and beautifully decorated- it made our stay such a joy! We enjoyed the pool and the game room - and found that no opportunity to make each space special was overlooked. The house feels spacious but it's the design that makes it feel so. We would absolutely recommend it and return! l would recommend that the master bedroom mattress get some review-- I know that firmness is a matter of preference but the mattress was overly soft and the only drawback to our stay.

Our family of 4 had a great time at this property! It has plenty of fun amenities for our 2 sons to keep them busy and entertained- ping pong, yard games, the pool. The house was comfortable and spacious. The location was quiet and peaceful. We absolutely love the screened porch and spent so much time out there. Really, we have no complaints! Would definitely stay there again.

Best vacation ever! This house was beautiful and I am so thankful we were able to book such a lovely rental. It was exactly as it was described in the listing. The owner provided everything we could possibly think of to make it a comfortable stay. We loved all the comfortable seating choices, pool and spacious showers. The neighborhood was super cute and so enjoyable to walk through. Washer and dryer was wonderful to have. We would love to go back sometime!

I have booked a variety of properties through booking site. This place tops ALL of them. Absolutely beautiful! Clean. Relaxing. Already booked again for February. Communication with the agency was a breeze. Book this place if you are looking for a more secluded, quiet home on beautiful SSI!

This property was even more beautiful than the pictures! Our family met for the first time on St Simons Island for Thanksgiving and couldn't have had a better time. It was overcast and drizzled rain the majority of the time and the house was perfect for us to hang out in the pool, play table tennis and watch football inside and out. The screened in porch was perfect for us to have our morning coffee and spend even more time outside. The interior was professionally decorated and every detail was thought of in making the property a rental that guests would enjoy!

This home has everything you need and more! Super cool game room to play ping pong, plus a fun outdoor space to hang out and watch TV or take a dip in the heated pool. Love the screen in porch too; it was perfect to curl up with a blanket and read. Beds were super comfy. Towels were plush- felt like I was at a spa. Timed candles set the ambiance. Impeccable amenities. Wonderful, updated home, with gorgeous decorating. Very private. Only 10 min bike ride to the beach. Will definitely come back.
