Welcome to the Drift Away Cottage! This wonderful island cottage is an updated ranch-style home located in a charming centrally located neighborhood of St. Simons Heights that is close to everything.  Just a quick walk to many popular restaurants, shops, and 1.5 miles from the Coast Guard public beach access at East Beach where guests will find plenty of parking and restrooms.  

This spacious cottage has been updated and furnished with a true "island theme" which includes multiple living spaces both indoors and outdoors.  The large kitchen is perfect for preparing, cooking and enjoying meals. The large dining room with seating for 6 is the perfect space to enjoy meals in. The two living rooms in the house both offer large HD Smart TV's where guests can enjoy relaxing after a fun day island exploration or a day at the beach.  Outdoors, guests will be treated to wonderful screened porch area where you can enjoy every part of the day under cover.  The large yard is the perfect place to grill your catch of the day and dine al fresco under the pergola.  Evenings can be spent enjoying the adjacent fire pit with friends and family.

The Master bedroom is a nice escape offer a King bed and an updated en suite Master Bathroom with a shower.   The first Guest Bedroom has a Queen bed and shares the hall Guest Bathroom with the second Guest Bedroom that offers two twin beds.

The cottage has been updated with a HALO-LED™ whole home and air purification system. This system treats every cubic inch of air conditioned space, reducing airborne and surface microbials, bacteria, viruses, mold, odors, VOC's allergens, dust and particulate matter.

The property does have exterior video surveillance for security.

Sanitation / Disinfection during COVID-19: Lilmar Properties has always been committed to providing our guests with rental properties that are properly cleaned and sanitized.  Starting May 1, 2020, we will be providing an extra layer of sanitation and disinfection for our arriving guests.  All properties will be treated (on frequently touched items, such as doorknobs, faucets, switches, etc.) with a U.S. EPA approved disinfectant product that kills the COVID-19 after our regular housekeeping process is completed.
 
  • Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (6 persons). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc. are not permitted. 
  • Please note that this home does not allow animals of any kind in or on the property at any time. This is due to severe allergies in the homeowners’ family. We are sorry, but service and support animals also may not be allowed as this would result in an undue burden and significant expenses to the owner to restore the property and arrange deep cleanings.
  • Linens (Bath towels, beach towels & bed sheets) provided.
  • Beach Chairs are provided.
